- In homage to a decade of design, the Spring Summer 2020 couture collection presents a youthful and modern interpretation of Ralph & Russo couture icons. With a special focus on ten treasured looks, this season takes inspiration from the brand archive and simultaneously reimagines each piece with contemporary flair.

It’s couture, it’s not meant to be worn like normal clothes at a daily basis. It’s a form of art, but wearable. Plus, you probably wouldn’t worry about having to wash it if you’re rich enough to afford it in the first place LOL (don’t take this seriously, I’m not trying to fight you :))

People who can afford these outfits wear them once, for an evening, then they put them in a closet and chances are they're never worn again. They don't get cleaned.

One of my favorite shows of the season. I love the fabrics, beading, fringe, colors. The bows are a bit distracting..but love it!

Inspiration seems to be impressionism and maybe Monet’s Water Lillies paintings. Watery, shimmery, spring-y color palette.

7:48 what is that embroidery called? It looks kinda like Chinese embroidery that Parsi women traditionally put on their clothes but I cannot be sure. It looks so exquisite.
The embroideries are known by stitch but I really dont which one was this as they didnt zoom on the work. I couldnt see the stitch style.
But yeah China Pakistan and India has those kind of stitches in their culture and the type of flowers are really common in their culturrs too
It looks quite similar to the Parsi Gara work

Как проработаны детали, и в целом концепция изделия - это восторг. Никогда не интересовалась миром моды, но именно сейчас, в 3 часа ночи, я поняла, какой труд стоит за процессом создания и представления изделий. Жаль, что я юрист и в суд/налоговую в этом не пойдешь, но все-равно - это чарующе.

Every dress, gown and pant suit are all so beautiful! Some retro looking but for the 21st Century and I love that pastels are put together with the brighter colors, all very stunning and the models were all just beautiful... oh and I love love the sparkly leg wear too! 💖😁
