They need to give him a button that he can press whenever he wants to speak that makes his mic hot. Like a PA. Or maybe Arron can just quietly reach over and pull his mic away from his face every once in a while. Or maybe they could put up a massive neon “Nose” light that they can illuminate like a “recording in progress” sign that he can see since he’s facing the cameras directly... just spitballing here guys, help me out.

There was one awhile back where it was so mysterious, that I actually thought there was a mouse dying somewhere in my house as I listened. Cuz unfortunately I've heard that noise before and it sounded the same. Wasn't fooled this time, the whistle has become too prevalent here!

Nate talking about cold showers in Iraq being the "worst", as people are fighting in a war shows just how awful the showers must have been. I've had a cold shower before, but nowhere near as bad as what Nate must have went through during his middle east tour and experiencing a cold shower. It must have been like nothing any of us have EVER felt back in the states. Thanks Nate for sharing about the difficult times in your life, I know it's not easy, but you're being vulnerable and transparent on your podcast, and we're all inspired. Keep it up.

I found this podcast earlier this year and have already caught up to real-time episodes. I’m glad I started from the beginning because of the running jokes in the show. It
blows my mind how much Barrabas and Aaron take from badgering Nate, when he can’t even make it through reading a comment without starting over or record a

Nate, Nate, Nate. To become a great comic, which I believe you are, you put in the time. You studied it. You practiced it. And we're all listening to your podcast because you've learned, through that practice and that time, how to make us smile. You're good at it. In the same way, I went to college to study history because I was fascinated with the record of our human experience over time. It never bothers me that others aren't as obsessed with the same topics and issues that I'm obsessed. But you know what DOES bother me? When someone who doesn't invest as much time into the same subject as I do tries to insist that my years of study and investment don't matter. Hearing you guys talk about the Old West and the Louisiana Purchase from a Wikipedia page is entertaining, but it's supposed to be entertaining. As a teacher, I'm just happy that you're looking this stuff up and talking about it. I'd never think of insulting you, especially not about education. So don't insult the college folks in your audience. Can't wait for your special to drop on Netflix! :)

Also, I've never understood the "free shipping after __$ order" thing. That just means that the prices of the products are so inflated and the companies profit margin is so extreme that at some point them paying for shipping is insignificant. Just reduce the prices of the products and ill happily pay for shipping. I'd like to hear y'alls take on this. Love the podcast!

After listening to the nose whistling for a few minutes and chuckling to myself, the second Nate and Aaron addressed it I burst out laughing to myself for a few solid minutes. It was also at that moment that I realized that the microphone was pointed directly at Blippi’s nose, sending me further into hysterics. I had to stifle it to avoid waking my sleeping daughter but was unsuccessful.
I honestly haven’t literally lol’d at any podcast more than this one. Keep up the fine work fellas :)

My friend knows how much I love this podcast and asked if we could watch nates special together when it comes out this week. Little does she know I’m gonna turn it into her SURPRISE 30TH BIRTHDAY PARTY. It'll be a week early and she won’t see it comin... nate can you give a happy 30th birthday shout out to emily? And if you, banana and the Rhodes scholar have any tips for this next decade of life, that’d be a bonus.
Love the podcast and love what y’all are doing!

Bobalobadingdong thinking the SOS sound was his nose breathing was the funniest part of the show, and it was a GREAT show today....despite being about the Wild West. Y’all always knock the most random topics out of the park. Well done folks!

I loved when Battlestar Gallactica gets annoyed that neither Aaron or Nate seemed to know anything at all about the 'Wild West' theme and questions Nate "So when you suggested Wild West, what were you thinking?" as they both seemed to have almost no knowledge of the subject.
The dynamic of this trio is like when they pair you up in a group in a school project Battlestar Galactica does all the research while Nate is the class clown and Aaron just eggs him on and keeps him going. One person does 95% of the work but the other two bring a good time.

Ok Nate, Aaron, and Banjo. Time for a swim test story. Once I went to a church camp in Pennsylvania and I knew virtually no one. When I arrived as a camp counselor, the camp facility had a rule that you have to complete a 100 yard swim test. If you pass, you get a blue tag, white means you half passed (like..watch 'em, but they should be fine), and a red tag means you should probably just go home. So I get to this camp and they said Go ahead and get in a one piece swim suit and swim 100 yards in front of all of these strangers. I'm 5'11 and mostly legs, so I was not thrilled to meet everyone in basically no clothes. I don't remember much, except jumping into what felt like the ocean (I guess I was comparing it to a pool) and making it one quarter of the way before they had to fish me out. They made me sit for a while and then walk in shame towards the beach. What made things worse is that the person recording scores was on the beach and asked what tag I needed. The lifeguard didn't tell me, so the recorder called ACROSS THE BEACH to the life guard, in front of the whole camp, "HEY!!! What did AMY GET ON HER SWIM SCORE??" I was mortified until she rolled her eyes and called back "WHITE TAG." So I passed!!!! I love love this show, y'all. I'm an elementary school art teacher in Tennessee and I listen every week. Keep it up y'all!!

My 10th grade English teacher taught us that onomatopoeia is the 2nd most rhythmical word in the English language. When we asked her what the first most rhythmical word was, she responded without missing a beat, "gonorrhea."

Hello folks! My name is Joe Wheeler Garrett the third. Pat Garrett is my distant cousin. My family and I have always thought this was super cool, but Every time we tell someone they never know who he is and once we explain no one is that interested. My dad uses it as a get to know me fact at his tax conferences. I don’t know if the people there find that fact more boring, or the speech he then gives on taxes. Listen to the podcast every week, keep up the great work.

Hello Folks, Love this topic, good work Beezleboss, Apron, and Nart! I work right next to Buffalo Bill Cody’s grave site (and museum) on Lookout Mountain in Golden, CO. Rumor has it he’s buried under 25 feet of concrete due to fears that grave robbers from Cody, Wyoming will take claim of the body and bring him to the town named after him. Unsure of its validity but that’s what I heard and I believe it! Keep up the good work.

How did you pick “The Old West” as a topic when Breakfast the Kid is literally the only person who knows anything about it? My favorite part is when Nate said “ I’ve never really liked Western movies”. . I almost onomatopoeiad on myself. Keep it up folks!

I must say, my favorite class at Western Kentucky was Golf. Spent an hour twice a week hitting range balls. Though the club pro, who ran the class, did say I had the swing.... and body of John Daly. You guys talking about golf and useless college classes brings up this hurtful memory. Thanks guys.

Nate, I also took a bowling class in college. The teacher said as long as you do better on the last day than you did the first you’ll pass. Everyone threw gutter balls on the first class on purpose except one kid. He failed. They also made us keep score for one round and it had to match the computer score, but they left them on. One of my favorite classes.

“GODLESS” on Netflix is a fantastic western. It’s a mini-series, I think 6 or 7 episodes, but is is AWESOME with an incredible gun fight in the last episode. If anyone is interested in a good new western It’s worth the watch for sure.

I used to teach middle school social studies. The Donner Party was always an interesting topic. Students would respond with a fascinating mixture of squeamishness, horror, and morbid curiosity. Social studies was right before lunch. One year after teaching the Donner Party, the students left my class to go feast on meat ravioli with red sauce. That day many wished they had brought their own lunch.
    I'll go proofread this now.
