@IamNuts114 she is definitely teasing the dog. Luckily the dogs respons is very gentle.
But it's disrespectful and potentially dangerous to tease animals like that. Somebody need to tell that girl to stop.
And lastly, how the 'f' can someone dislike this
I felt uncomfortable watching it. Simon is showing great restraint. She’s teasing him and almost sticking her fingers in his mouth. It made me wince watching those flailing fingers get so close to his teeth and almost hitting him in the face. I kept thinking when is Simon going to say, “Enough already!”
Human pup needs training. One day he’ll nip her and she’ll be “😭, He jus bit me an I wasn DUUUUINNNG anythinnnnnng!”
do you own dogs? have you seen them play with each other? that is what they do, fake bite/ lightly nibble at each other, sometimes they will even put their whole mouth on each other's necks. You can obviously see the dog wasn't trying to bite the kid at all, they ever playing. Of course never play like that with your dog unless you understand it's temperament very well, and never to other people's dogs
This is such an elegant, beautiful breed. Simon sounded distressed in the car and I agree with the other commenter, the girl should not be permitted to tease and badger this lovely dog. Shame on her and the person filming to allow it to happen.

Breeding the humans for the “annoying” trait?
Agree, not cool. I have had five Basenjis over last 45 years. From his speech and ear position it is clear that Simon is distressed in the car and thru the whole time this unrestrained girl is teasing him.
Omg whats with this girl! Stop annoying the dog. Frustrating to watch. Not cool.
