@ crowing7, so the washer is 6 months old now and I have noticed 2 things about it.1 it is noisier then a front load, I have to sit the door because of the noise. Noise is from the impeller moving the clothes not the spin cycle, also clothes get more wrinkled then the front loads
OMG! you are completely right about the repair and the smell of the front load washers! i cant stand them! i am getting one of these next week! im excited.
Best washer I ever owned. The set lasted 12 years and is still running with not problems what so ever. Not once did I have to make a repair. People saying their clothes didn’t get clean are trying to use regular washer detergent and not HE detergent.
Save yourself and buy a commercial duty Speed Queen before the govt. regulations ruin them too. The Bravo will die an early death, Maytag isn't what it used to be. SQ costs a bit more, but are well worth it in build quality and trouble free performance. No goofy computer sensing idiocy, lid locks or telling me how much water I may be allowed to use. I don't know how long its going to take people to learn about this new era of junk appliances being forced on us. They sell them on looks, cycle features and water usage, but little is said about serious performance and nothing at all is said about build quality or longevity. Im 57 and I remember when most any name brand appliance you bought would last (at least) 10 to 15 years, many much longer. I have a 1977 GE Filter flo washer that's still going, only this year have I needed to start making repairs. But parts are scarce and rust will take its outer tub one day so I bought a Speed Queen top loader and its the highest quality of anything ive bought in the last 10 or 15 years. Its a no nonsense, no frills commercial duty machine and take my word it really performs and has the best warranty in the business. Three years on the machine, ten years on the motor and fifteen years on the transmission-!
😟Yep my mom got one is freaking loud.. She has a hard trouble using it. She says "after wash still soaks". I tried normal wash and is still soaked. Taking it back. Not worth for the trouble. My parents needed one so they picked this one at home depot. I told them no worries taking this washer back🤔. My mom not very fond of this washer, personally I have an Lg. Shopping this weekend 😂😂😂😂😂
As far as my research I asked people, read blogs, saw a report on tv showing the repair rate to top loaders overall the machine works fine and it is nice I do t have to bend over to remove the clothes every time I load or unload, but sure would like the almost silent operation on a front load. Samsung has a top load like this and the noise is less then the maytag
I had this model and it lasted almost exactly 2 years and then I junked it. Other than all the strikes against it , I actually liked the way it washed....when it actually did.lol
Same here, broke after warranty expired.. Fact is, if its bought at COSTCO the unit will be returned under warranty as I was told, it's cheaper to exchange or refund the money than fixing them.. One guy brought in a washer and dryer set. He told me that's how it's being handled. He stated it costs more to fix the washer than it's worth.
We have the Maytag Centennial Washer and dryer (I was never there to help in the shopping of a new set) and thankfully, we've gotten about 2 or 3 years of trouble free service out of it. I'm hoping it lasts at least another 2 years because right now we can't afford a new one. One thing I found interesting is that our washer has the same tub in it as this one does. It still has knobs though, so I hope nothing overly bad happens to it.
I agree about front load washers. They also leak. I just ordered this Bravos too and hope it's good. I read it has an internal hot water heater and gets clothes cleaner than some others e.g Whirlpool Cabrio. I got an extended warranty on it for five years at Sears. A Sears repairman told me the same thing about how expensive things are to replace.
We the viewers, were looking forward to the continuation of the wash and you left us hanging! Especially being a load of jeans on Bulky cycle! You gotta do another video of the same wash. Please and thanks!
I believe I have the exact same pair. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! I have had them less than two years and the washer is already leaking from the back left side. After a little research, it seems it's the injector and aerator that need replacing. I haven't checked into the cost of the parts as of yet. I was still doing some research when I came upon your video. Until the leak, I was satisfied with the pair with the exception of not being able to soak my white clothes. I work in construction and I tend to get pretty dirty. I have always been able to get my whites stark clean and for some reason with this machine they just dont come out as white as I would like. The dryer works great and I have had no issues with it as of yet. I hope your machine doesnt take a dump on you like mine did. Average use of the machine is 1-2 loads per day. (maybe that's too much for it to handle.) Also, I NEVER overload the machine. I am just so disappointed with it. Good luck. Regards.
I am doing tons of research on top loads right now. I am sooo very sad as I have had my Sears Kenmore since 1984 and it is just now for the very 1st time giving me signs of giving up the ghost. I have had to rotate the cycle knob several times to get it to finish the rinse cycle. :( I keep saying, "But i don't want to buy a new washer, I will never find one that has been as loyal as you have been." :'( And they just don't make them as good for the price. Mine has many features and cost me $289
No real issues per say, it is a bit noisier then I would like, an the clothiers come out very wrinkled. It does clean well and the price was right ($499) on sales from Home Depot . They have one that is silver but you pay an extra $100 just forth at, no difference what so ever, NOTHING just the paint is different . Overall I would buy again
So I have read that these 700rmp and 800 rmp spinners leave the clothes more wrinkled so much so that the wrinkles do not even come out in the dryer. Is that true. I am disabled and DO NO do any ironing. I do no see any options for any top load washers that are less than 700 rpms available today though!
I have this washer. It is only 3 years old and I can no longer wash clothes on regular cycle, as it will sense the load, tumble a bit, add some water and then stop, refusing to start again. I have to wash everything on Bulky cycle now, so that tells me the problem is a water level issue. I don't want to call a repairman and spend hundreds on it, as I never liked the machine to start with because it leaves white streaks on my dark cotton clothing. I am going to toss it and buy an old fashioned Speed Queen. No more HE for me.
Aw im so sorry for you, wondering how long this one lasted you - hope you had good luck these have a bad repair history and short life. Shoulda bought a commercial duty Speed Queen, last one youll ever buy.
Whirlpoolz Speed Queen top load and front load washers are very expensive 2-4 times as much and rather noisy. In addition the tubs are smaller and although they do have a strong fan base, there are many forums with people stating all kinds of problems with them.
I also bought a Speed Queen, couldn't be more pleased with the build quality and performance. No fancy paint jobs, no error codes, doesn't walk during the spin cycle and clothes are cleaner than ever. I feel sorry every time I see one of the HE reviews, theyre all impressed with the flash and electronics until it fails in two years and costs more than its worth to fix.

I have a Maytag bravos co powerwash system I purchased new from Lowes the model MVWB850W0. This machine does not clean properly. I believe the to the small agitator. I almost look forward to the day when this dies. I will purchase a simple washer that CLEANS!!!
Mines lasted 12 years and is still working. If the dryer isn’t drying well take it outside. Take out the lint screen and remove the dryer vent hose. Blow through the hole where the hose connects with a leaf blower. Then do the same thing in the hole where the lint screen goes. It will blow a bunch of lint out and then the dryer will work perfectly again.

No mold equal leave the door open, common sense, baring problem do full load. Mold do not use liquid or alternate liquid and powder.
these machines are fraught with design problems and MANY Americans have lost money and been swindled by the fact that Maytag did not stand behind their products. Do your research; Maytag is not the company that it used to be. The bearings tend to go out quickly, as this guy says, in two to three years. The black Case on the drain pump frequently cracks because of a design flaw. They have upgraded the design on the replacement pump that you can buy by putting ridges over the area that they found to be cracking commonly. FOLKS, DISHWASHER REPAIR IS VERY EXPENSIVE. EXTENDED WARRANTIES ARE TYPICALLY EXPENSIVE. Try to find a brand that lasts typically at least 4 to 6 years. This Maytag Model line WILL NOT DO THAT. NEVER BUY A USED MAYTAG BRAVO WASHER!!!!!!!.
Well yeah, but I've had to repair my samsung machine over 5 times now... Warranty is past and it's not even 2 years old... BTW, it's once again ****ED UP!

We have a Whirlpool Cabrio washer. And it had a broken glass lid and when its on the spin cycle its very loud. But it works very well.

On any washing machine. When the paint gets chipped will rust unless you spray it with WD40 and wipe it down once every 6 months.
Lid lock flashing and start light flashing wont start
