These are so cool. You've got to hand it to Danelectro. They may have been the 60's "budget" guitar but they were so innovative. When someone can do more with less, to me it's more impressive than someone who does more with more.
Boy, that guitar sounds superb. So juicy and twangy. Almost like a les paul mixed with a jaguar. Hope i can get my hands on one, someday. Link wray brought me here lol
Thanks Always been interested in this 35 fret model. You played just a few notes above the 24th fret, I always wondered how you could play up there with those tiny fret spaces. Thanks again for the demo
My dad (Eddie Durham) left us a Dan Electro Longhorn he ALWAYS called it a "6-string bass". It looks JUST like yours, but it has FOUR knobs. I can't find any online with 4 knobs. What year would it be?
I'm looking at a good price for one these, and it sounds just like I expected. Link wray in a guitar

I appreciate your demos cause you play almost identical to how I do. Especially with all the fuzz
that is a work of art, thank you for inventing it
Didn't invent it, but wanted to share this one with the internet!

great playing...cool guitar-lin!!!!!
Wish we knew all the hit songs that had one of these on it.
Hell i never thought that this guitar sounds that much better
Nice playing
Nicely played sir!
Appreciate that! Thanks for listening.
Badass sir. Well done
Which is greater? The demo or the guitar. Thanks for sharing. Great job.
This sounds pretty damned legit. How different does this play compared to a normal guitar?
It feels a little weird, but not bad. The way the neck melds way into the body, it balances better than you'd think.
Johnny Winter used a Danelectro Guitarlin in concert back in the 70s when he played slide. Could get way up.
Cool!
This is sick
Nice playing!!! what were the songs?
Almost sounds like Black Sabbath Paranoid in some places. Amazing!
Is this actually a Baritone with extended range??? Great playing!
Are you using any overdrive pedals? That guitar sounds great.
Yeah, we usually use a Fulltone OCD for dirt in the videos.
great licks btw
Thank you Randall.
wow....you are a walking music machine....awesome playing...teach me how to play.....did that Guitarlin ever sell.....?
Yeah Dawg, let's get together, I'll teach you. If not in person maybe on Skype. Find me on www.mikedugan.com

Could it be a Coral Longhorn? Like this one in the video link below:

I know the one from the video has 6 knobs, but maybe you might find images of a model with four knobs
What is that great ampeg you are always using?
Usually the Gemini I or the old Reverberocket...
Reverbarocket
man, how many frets does that thing have??
31
31 frets!
I guess I could only play with my fingernails after the 22nd.
Robyn Crest trick is to fret over and inside the fret behind the one you want to play. but pretty useless anyway haha
Demon guitar. Play "Flight of the Bumblebee!'
