man you probably aren't going to reply to this but I could sure use some help. I just got a rovan f5 and I can't for the life of me figure out what I need to install my 65mm long 1/5th servo. Servo box is too small and every 1/5th scale server I see is 65mm long.
@@Megasty15 Btw, do you remember if your clear body came with protective film on it? I just painted mine and realized it has no film. First clear body I've ever seen without a protective film. Wasted 13 coats of paint and a body 🤣😭
mcd sell's rollers then you get the engine and put it in yourself anyways. So you dont have to remove any engine. BUT.... who tf can really afford or at least justify 1 of those mcd cars. I have the rovan rf5b and it rocks, only needed to get some wheel blocks with slightly longer threads as there wasnt enough threads for the nut/lug to thread on with after market wheels. Also had to replace my power switch for the servo controls, and the rear dif cover, and i'm actually replacing the engine also. Had a runaway(should have installed an auto kill switch) duo to a faulty power switch. Roven has sent me all of the replacement parts free of charge. The runaway lasted for about 10 minutes of full throttle(def had me out of breath until i gave up chasing it and waited for it to get stuck) with the wheels turned a little left making it go in big circles instead of just a straight line. Engines are on back order so i'll be waiting a while on that though. I enjoyed the vid, thanks for the content.

I had to trim the rear of the servo box to fit 1/5 servos. After trimming it, I used the servo to line up new holes for the rear.
