Thank you so much for the auto-threader info. I have a 770 qe plus, which does not have the automatic threader, but a manual one. After watching this video, I realized that my threader may also have fuzz in it as the last few times I used it, it took 3 or 4 times before it caught. Lo and behold, fuzz! Cleaned it out just like you showed, and it works great again. Thanks again for the helpful hint, not sure I would have thought of it on my own.
When using the needle threader on my Bernina 830, the needle swings out too far and will hit the foot or the throat plate (if there is no foot on the machine). I have the appropriate plate and foot on the machine. Have cleaned and calibrated. Since I'm afraid this could cause damage to the machine (as well as breaking needles), I now activate the threader without the needle in place just to be safe and then thread manually. My machine is not due for service yet, so I am using this workaround for now to save an extra trip lugging it up and down the stairs. No problem with the decorative stitches or general sewing. Hoping it will be something simple that maybe I've overlooked.

Mine jammed today on my 790 Pro. My menus won't open. I now have the 1010 Maindrive failure but my needle threader is stuck down.
Hi I know this is not the correct place to ask this question.
Is it worth upgrading my 790 plus to the 790 pro?
Does it have to do maintenance every three years. If it does, what kind of maintenance is needed?
I suggest top of the line machines to see a tech every year.
Really helpful video, Thx a bunch! Carrie from Northern San. Francisco Bay Area 🤩☕🧵🪡🧶
It seems that Bernina has so many issues, plus they loose their value. I own one. Never again b
All machines have issues. Just like cars, and houses, and tv's and appliances and on and on....nothing is perfect.
