    with the tyre's on that new bike, just check and make sure that they haven't filled them to the maximum pressure written on the side walls of them , that number is for seating the beads. I've brought a new quad home and when I checked the pressure of the tyre's i was shocked when i discovered that someone at the shop had filled them to the max instead of the 4 psi to 7 psi .

    The Outlander and the Honda Rancher did a great job! I can't imagine being given something that nice when I was his age. lol! He looks like he's having fun with his dad and thats what matters. I have the Polaris Sportsman 850 with independent front and rear suspension. I ended up taking the sway bar off the rear for trail riding. Articulates much better without it. Walks over obsicals better. Now with that said, I don't ride any high speed trails. If I did, It would be a good idea to leave it on.

    I currently own a 2020 Yamaha Kodiak 450, very dependable and perfect for trail riding. I recently joined an ATV club, and everyone owns bigger ATVs and it was tough keeping up with them on open roads, so I've been thinking about getting a second (and bigger) ATV, something around 550cc range. I could get a Grizzley 700 but it's a bit too big so I'm looking at Can-Am or a Polaris. I'm not a fan of all the tech stuff they build into the ATVs, it's just additional items to break. I like simple machines; they seem to last a long time.
    Thanks for the video, I'm trying to get educated on different ATV's strengths and weaknesses. That Outlander looks and sounds wonderful but the heat it generates concerns me. I guess the more power an ATV has, the more heat it will generate.

    Nice video. Nice looking machine. Just picked up a 22' 650 XT in January. Loving it so far. I also ordered and received yesterday Stage 3 Elka shocks for it. I found the stock ones too soft and just not responsive enough. I am 6'3" and ~210lbs plus I have a couple of other add-ons on the quad as well. As for tires, mine came with the ITP Terracross's and I like them. They definitely look different from the Carlisles on the 570. Good luck with the machine!

      Forgot to also mention that the shiftting of gears on these Can-Am's is a well known "quirk" I guess you can call it. You need to do what we call the "Can-Am shuffle" to shift. It's been like that for many years. Cheers!

    That thing does sound good. I don't know if i would change the exhaust. Save some money and buy another accessory. As for the rear suspension, I don't think AJ weighs enough. haha. Might check your tire psi to see if that helps with some traction.

  • @powersportsenthusiast1986
    @powersportsenthusiast1986 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    the difference in traction is about double the hp, not all the tires. plus the throttle is pretty touchy on the 570. whos behind the bars makes a big difference too

  • @danielbjorkstrand1474

    You should probably adjust the shifter linkages. Dealers usually do a poor job with that. After i adjusted mine it was smooth as butter.

    I'm pretty sure only the outlander 570X MR has a 650 engine 'detuned' and different clutch and exhaust set up. Looks like the rest of the 570 model range is a true 570cc displacement V-twin.
    And the 450 is a 427cc single pot thumper

    I used to have an 06 rubicon and it was the worst riding atv out there the suspension was completely stiff it didn’t compress an inch while I was riding it so I believe that irs is the way to go because that rubicon I had it had solid rear axle and it rode like crap I think the suspension on that can am is stiff a little because it’s new I think over time it’ll soften up a lot I might want a can am 570 except I’d get the xt because it comes with a winch and other good stuff it does come with the same tires but I can upgrade them no problem the tires I’d recommend are the bkt w207 tires they are more aggressive and they still ride good even though they are aggressive my friend has those tires and they were good with the right tires and given it’s due time the ride will get better new atvs will ride a little rough at first but the suspension does need break in just like the engine

    Easily broken floor board. Oil changes take way too long. My legs burn because of the machine gets so hot. My rear cylinder has a very tiny antifreeze leak…it only has 500 miles.

    Overpriced machines. Cheap shocks....steel wheels....non LED lighting....no winch. Unfortunately....Can Am and Polaris never made machines as dependable or as good as the Asian companies like Honda...Yamaha....Suzuki and Kawasaki. And they still don't. Hell cfmoto is even catching up. Arctic Cat.....i wouldn't even mention that manufacturer anymore.

      Honda rancher FA6: quoted 10,200-10,600 OTD by MULTIPLE Honda dealerships. (thankfully I discovered the Honda DCT issues prior to committing to one). Can Am Outlander 570 Xt: 10,000 out the door. Came with more power, a winch, a better ride, and a working auto transmission! Not sure why you are complaining, the Honda doesn't come with LED lights either, and the Can Am I got is a higher end model then the Rancher would be in comparison, yet I paid less!
