  • Color Your World using this fun technique with the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Specialty Paper and the Butterflies Thinlits Dies, both from Stampin' Up! This project was made for the Creative Inking Blog Hop. Visit this post www.suestampfie... for more details on this project and to "hop" to the other "Color Your World" blog posts! I was inspired to make this card by demonstrator Ceal Prichitt, you can see her original creation here: www.simplybeaut...

    I love this technique. Not too lengthy, and very professionally done.

      I guess 6 years ago I could do a 5 minute card - lol! I’ll have to work on that!

    I just seen an idea of using the butterfly thinlit to cut with no fuss. You put your cutting plate down on the platform, then a new dryer sheet, your paper of choice, wax paper, your thinlit, and top with your other cutting plate...OMG it works GREAT and no more poking out those little pieces. Horray!!!

    beautiful card! just a quick tip....if you burnish the piece that you colored with a tissue or paper towel it will remove the excess ink and make the pattern "pop"

    This demo was so inspiring. I have a few sets of Blendabilities and this has helped me make my decision to go ahead and keep what I have and to use them. This with the butterfly is right up my alley. I have the paper you were using, so I need to get to working!

    Thank you for showing your technique, it's beautiful! I tried cutting it, but there's 2 vertical lines - like folded lines above & below the butterfly's body. Do you have any tip on how no to have those? Thanks!

    Just wondering how you attached the top piece to the card body. It looks like you have used dimensional as the edges seem to be standing sway from the card body. Did you do that because of the additional smaller piece on the back?

    • @suestampfield
      @suestampfield  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used Dimensionals mostly because I like the added dimension, not for any specific purpose.

    hello, with what a kind of pen did you coloured the butterfly? (brand)

      Stampin' Up! Stampin' Blends (formally called Blendabilities)

    2quetee - for some reason I am unable to reply to your comment so I will post the answer here. You are getting two vertical lines - try it without the wax paper (less thickness) to see if that helps.
