Was Jesus on anybody’s side of ‘politics’ when the USA invaded Iraq or Afghanistan to deliver some democracy at the other end of a gun? I do remember George Bush saying it was a war of good against evil.
Magic sky fairies, special son’s, virgin mothers, promised land, chosen people is the mask of an ‘intelligent animal’ in his/her own quest for survival!
And if that not be true then God ‘father of Jesus’ (and the rest of us just not as special as him) strike me down as I take my beautifully natural morning poo!

Excellently balanced and nuanced approach based on a biblical approach to Israel whilst not giving Israel a 'blank cheque' as you put it.
At the same time, resisting taking political sides but balancing the biblical commands to Christians to love all people, Palestinian and Jewish, as God's 'image bearers'

Thanks guys for an insightful synopsis on a difficult and complicated topic. We dont have to know every answer as to the future. Being aware to the extent God reveals end times is about all we can do. What I would hope for additionally is not for a return of Christ, though we look to this moment, but a return to God due to what people may be questioning about inside of themselves. Lets hope for a world wide revival. That would be the best outcome.
I am guilty of taking sides so to speak with a tribal attitude. Thanks for reminding me to be aware as a Christian that I should recognize Israel is not always right, that there are wrong decisions and roads both nations and my own nation is taking.
Ill keep both sides in prayer and hope for peace and more so a saving knowledge of Christ for those in Gaza, Israel and my own country.

I'll take God's word for what it says, the greatest Jewish/Christian writer in history said "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28 and “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29. The "Promised Land" is the New Earth we all inherit if we allow Christ to change us into His likeness.

Hello, first thing first, people who lack of discernment interpret the bible wrong. Since the bible doesn't need to be interpret by a HUMAN, the bible intreprets ITSELF. 2 Peter 1: 20-21.
A lot people think that God is done with Israel and the church is the replacement of ISRAEL, and this is a misinterpretation of the scriptures.
God is not done with Israel, because Israel is GOD'S wife.
Its the covenant between God and Abraham. Genesis 17.
And God renewed that covenant with Moses in Sanai. Exodus 19: 4-8.
ISRAEL disobey God and has failed in many ways, but God always remember his covenants with ISRAEL.
      Exodus 2:24.
When they rejected the MESSIAH, God put them on hold, and God raised.the church to finish what the Jewish people didn't to spread the Gospel, since the church accepted Jesuschrist, the church became the bridegroom of Jesuschrist. Ephisians 5.
So conclusion, Israel eventually will accept the MESSIAH, because the Antichrist will self proclaimed the MESSIAH, and the Jewish people will ask him for proof( the holes, and the cut from the spear in his ribs) and of course the Antichrist doesn't have any scarfs and the Jewish will NOT BOUND TO HIM. And that's when the Desolation of Abomination will start, same as happened in 70 A D. Daniel 11
      (9:27)
      Matthew 24:15
      Revelation 13.
      Then the tribulation will start.
The Zionist movement is not Christian, it's a Jewish movement that originated in the 1800, because Jewish people who were scattered all over the world; were mistreated, specially in Easter European countries, Spain persecuted them with the approval of the Pope with the Inquisition, Spain also expelled, etc, etc, so Theodor Hertz was an Austro-Hungarian Jewish activist who promoted the return of Jewish people to zion( JERUSALEM).
We Christians now support Israel, because we are coheirs of Israel. Abraham COVENANT.
Ishmael is a descendant if Abraham, as God promised to bless his descendants, Ishmael is not the exception., but Ishmael is the descent and of the FLESH. you may ask why?
Because when Sarah and Abraham were very old, the didn't wait on GOD'S time, feeling both were getting very, very old and no CHILD, Sarah told Abraham to take her maid Hagar and sleep with her so Abraham could have an heir; and that's the will of the FLESH, because Abraham listened to his wife instead of asking God Fisrt.( of course being a man he thought " Come Hagar before Sarah regrets it")
ISAAC is the Promise of God, ( God is a spirit not flesh), and that's when all the problem, envy started, because Hagar tried to diminished Sarah, and Sarah, obviously wouldn't accepted.
So in order to understand more profoundly these prophecies we need to study GOD'S COVENANTS.

Who is really teaching “Replacement Theology” ?
(Did God fulfill His promises to the Jewish people at Calvary? Matthew 26:28, John 19:30)
The advocates of modern Dispensational Theology often accuse others of promoting “Replacement Theology”, or some may even say “Antisemitism”. What does the Bible say about their accusations?
      1. Who is replacing Christ as the seed of Abraham through which all the families of the Earth would be blessed in Genesis 12:3, with Abraham’s modern descendants? (See Paul’s interpretation in Galatians 3:8.)
      2. Who is replacing the one people of God in John 10:16, with two peoples of God ?
      3. Who is replacing the one seed (Christ) in Galatians 3:16, with the many seeds?
      4. Who is replacing the children of the promise in Romans 9:8, with the children of the flesh?
      5. Who is replacing the faithful “remnant” of Israelites in Romans 11:1-5, with the Baal worshipers?
      6. Who is replacing the word "so" in Romans 11:26, with the word "then"?
      7. Who is attempting to replace the Church made up of all races of people, with one made up only of Gentiles? Why did Peter address the crowd as “all the house of Israel” in Acts 2:36, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted Christ on the Day of Pentecost?
      8. Based on Hebrews 9:15, the New Covenant cannot be separated from the Messiah’s death. Is the covenant in Daniel 9:27 connected to the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26. Is the covenant with the “many” in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the “many” in Matthew 26:28? If it is, some have replaced the New Covenant in Daniel 9:27 with a future covenant made by an antichrist not found in Daniel chapter 9. (See the 1599 Geneva Bible used by the Pilgrims.)
      9. Those promoting the Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology often accuse others of teaching “Replacement Theology”, but are they the masters of it? Are they promoting a form of Dual Covenant Theology based on race? (See “genealogies” in Titus 3:9) Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
      10. Watch the TH-cam video “Genesis of Dispensational Theology” to see the origin of this man-made doctrine, which is less than 200 years old. It was brought to the United States about the time of the Civil War by John Nelson Darby. The doctrine was later incorporated into the notes of the Scofield Reference Bible, and then spread through much of the modern Church.
Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas Texas was created in part to promote John Darby’s Two Peoples of God doctrine of Dispensational Theology.
Lewis Sperry Chafer, the first president of Dallas Theological, had the following to say about the difference between Israel and the Church:

“The dispensationalist believes that throughout the ages God is pursuing two distinct purposes: one related to the earth with earthly people and earthly objectives involved which is Judaism; while the other is related to heaven with heavenly people and heavenly objectives involved, which is Christianity.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer, Dispensationalism (Dallas, Seminary Press, 1936), p. 107.
Chafer states that, ‘Israel is an eternal nation, heir to an eternal land, with an eternal kingdom, on which David rules from an eternal throne,’ that is, on earth and distinct from the church who will be in heaven.”
Lewis Sperry Chafer. Systematic Theology. 1975. Vol. IV. pp. 315-323.
John Walvoord, another prominent voice of Dallas Theological stated…
"...it is an article of normative dispensational belief that the boundaries of the land promised to Abraham and his descendants from the Nile to the Euphrates will be literally instituted and that Jesus Christ will return to a literal and theocratic Jewish kingdom centred on a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem. In such a scheme the Church on earth is relegated to the status of a parenthesis.”
      John F. Walvoord, The Rapture Question.1979, p. 25
      -------------------------------------------------------------------------
Are there two peoples of God in John 10:16? (See also 1 John 2:22-23, 2 John 1:7-11.)
What is the land promise to the Old Testament Saints in Hebrews 11:15-16?
(See what Joshua said about the Old Covenant land promise in Josh. 21:43.)
Based on 2 Peter 3:10-13, is this earth “eternal”? Will it be replaced by a new earth?
Based on Acts 2:36, and Romans 9:6-8, and Romans 11:1-5, and Hebrews 12:22-24, and James 1:1-3, can faithful Israel and the Church be separated into two different groups?
Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and is it fulfilled by the blood of Christ at Calvary in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 12:18-24?
Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church, if the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20? (See also 2 Thess. 1:7-10) If the New Covenant has made the Old Covenant “obsolete” in Hebrews 8:6-13, why would God go back to the Old Covenant system during a future time period?
Read the recent book "The Rise and Fall of Dispensationalism", by Daniel G. Hummel.

The Bible prophesies that a group of 10 'kings,' or national leaders, through alliances or other arrangements will give rise to a union that will fulfill these end-time predictions. Daniel's prophecy indicates these leaders will preserve their cultures and languages, so it will not be one integrated group of states, such as the United States, but 10 individual political and cultural entities united for a common purpose. Some will be much stronger than the others.,,🤔

The important thing to notice, I think, is that the Psalmist here lists a group of nations/tribes which immediately surround Israel on all sides. The nations of Ezekiel 38, on the other hand, are a great distance from Israel, although they too are found in all directions. While the Gog and Magog of Revelation 20:8 is probably a prophecy about a different event, John picks up the point from Ezekiel that this confederacy comes from the four corners of the earth. There is no correspondence or overlapping between the nations of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38.,🇮🇱🙏

The first and third parts about what the Bible says about Israel is very good. No replacement theology there. But the historical second part is heavily biased against Israel, conveniently overlooking, among other things, that both Jews and Arabs were called Palestinians until 1948 and that as many Jews were kicked out Arab countries as "Palestinian" refugees, leaving far more behind them than they did and have worked hard to transform the waste land that was Israel in 1948 into the thriving nation of today instead of making themselves eternal victims.

A biblical Jew is a Christian. Bible is crystal clear on this...
Firstly, the promise to Abraham was made to BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ (Melchizedek). Jesus is God (John 1:1) and God manifested in the flesh (1 Timothy 3:16).
The seed of the promise made to Abraham is SINGULAR, not plural. Abraham’s seed (descendant) is Jesus Christ.
    Galatians 3:16
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith NOT, And to SEEDS, as of MANY; but as of ONE, And to THY SEED, which is CHRIST.
    Galatians 3:29
And IF ye be Christ's, THEN are ye Abraham's SEED, and HEIRS according to the PROMISE.
Secondly, in the bible we have physical Jews and physical Israel and spiritual Jews and spiritual Israel - discerning the distinction when reading scripture is key.
Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a true, spiritual Jew is a saved Christian.
    Romans 2:28-29
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Thirdly, Gods covenant with Israel was CONDITIONAL on the physical Jews being OBEDIENT and KEEPING His COMMANDMENTS (note the use of the word “IF”) in Exodus 19 below.
They weren’t obedient, they didn’t keep the commandments, they rejected the prophets that God sent them, they rejected and killed Jesus and the apostles.
Compare Exodus 19:5-7 and 1 Peter 2:9-10 and you will see that the peculiar treasure (chosen people), and the royal priesthood and an holy nation is - it’s saved believers in Jesus Christ.
    Exodus 19:5-7 (KJV)
5 Now therefore, IF ye will OBEY my voice indeed, and KEEP MY COVENANT, THEN ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the Lord commanded him.
    Exodus 24:7-8
7 And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the Lord hath said will we do, and be obedient.
8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord hath made with you concerning all these words.
    1 Peter 2:9-10
    9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;
10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

You're confusing terms .. Firstly Paul's not talking about a PROPHECY but a PRINCIPLE in Romans 11:25-28. When Paul says in Romans that "all Israel will be saved" you have to keep it in context with Paul's other writings, WHO is "ISRAEL"? "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus." Galatians 3:28 and “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3:29

    New Covenant Whole Gospel:
Who is now the King of Israel in John 1:49? Is the King of Israel now the Head of the Church, and are we His Body? Why did God allow the Romans to destroy the Old Covenant temple and the Old Covenant city, about 40 years after His Son fulfilled the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34 in blood at Calvary?
What the modern Church needs is a New Covenant Revival (Heb. 9:10) in which members of various denominations are willing to re-examine everything they believe and see if it agrees with the Bible, instead of the traditions of men. We need to be like the Bereans. It will be a battle between our flesh and the Holy Spirit. It will not be easy. If you get mad and upset when someone challenges your man-made Bible doctrines, that is your flesh resisting the truth found in God's Word. Nobody can completely understand the Bible unless they understand the relationship between the Old Covenant given to Moses at Mount Sinai and the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. What brings all local churches together into one Body under the blood of Christ? The answer is found below.
Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by husband unto them, saith the LORD:
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? What did Paul say about Genesis 12:3 in Galatians 3:8, 3:16? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.
The following verses prove the Holy Spirit is the master teacher for those now in the New Covenant.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Mar 1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
Act 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

    =================
Based on Hebrews 12:22-24, the Messiah’s death in Daniel 9:26 cannot be separated from the New Covenant fulfilled by His blood at Calvary. See the words "church" and "mount Sion" and "new covenant" and "Jesus" and "blood" in the passage.
Are we supposed to believe the angel Gabriel appeared to Daniel to reveal the timeline of the Messiah who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and then the angel failed to even mention the New Covenant. Or, is the covenant with the many in Daniel 9:27 the same covenant with the many in Matthew 26:28? The 1599 Geneva Bible is the Bible the Pilgrims brought to America, before John Darby showed up on our shores about the time of the Civil War. What was the earlier understanding of Daniel 9:27 found below in the notes of the 1599 Geneva Bible?
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dan 9:27 And he shal confirme the couenant with many for one weeke: and in the middes of the weeke he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the ouerspreading of the abominations, he shall make it desolate, euen vntill the consummation determined shalbe powred vpon the desolate.
    Daniel 9:27
And he (a) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to (b) cease, (c) and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
    (a) By the preaching of the Gospel he affirmed his promise, first to the Jews, and after to the Gentiles.
    (b) Christ accomplished this by his death and resurrection.
    (c) Meaning that Jerusalem and the sanctuary would be utterly destroyed because of their rebellion against God, and their idolatry: or as some read, that the plague will be so great, that they will all be astonished at them.
    ====================
What does an understanding of the New Covenant do to the Pretrib Rapture doctrine?
Since the New Covenant is “everlasting” in Hebrews 13:20, how is the New Covenant Church age going to end seven years before the Second Coming of Christ? Why would anyone think God is going back to the Old Covenant system now made “obsolete” by the New Covenant in Hebrews 8:13? We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, modern Dispensational Theology falls apart, and the pretrib removal of the Church falls with it.

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman. So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free. (Ga 4:21-31)

Don't misinterpreted the Scriptures, there's only one covenant.
Abraham's covenant was to bless all his descendants, because his descendants will form nations, kings, and Kingdoms.
God bless Ishmael, because God doesn't break a promise, but ISAAC is the PROMISE of GOD.
Why Isaac us the promise of GOD? Because from Isaac will come the Salvation, the MESSIAH.
Remember that God is a SPIRIT, Not flesh.
Ishmael represents the will of the FLESH.

Greetings, the scriptures do not teach that the world ends, nowhere in scripture is this taught, nowhere. The scriptures do not teach a rapture, nowhere in the scriptures is this taught, nowhere. There will not be a rapture today, tomorrow, next month, next year, in a decade, in a century, ever. The scriptures do teach an end of age. The scriptures do teach about the "last days" and "latter days". Almost every prophet talks about the last days, which is defined by the prophets as the last days of their covenant. This covenant was called the Mt. Sinai/Mosaic covenant. Jesus Christ was born under this covenant, the law. This covenant was the "age" he was born under. Christ was sent by his Father to fulfill the law. Who did the law pertain to? Israel This is why Christ says: But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Christ makes it very clear when he would return. He said: But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. He said: Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom. He told the apostles/disciples to take the gospel of the kingdom of heaven to the known world. This was accomplished: Romans 10:18, 16:26, Colossians 1:23, now comes the end of the age. When the temple was destroyed this was the "last day" of the old covenant. The same last day Christ mentions 3 times in John 6. This is the revelation/resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every New Testament writer told their immediate audience they would witness the revelation of Jesus Christ.
No one knows the day or hour. Until they are told. Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. This book was written circa 65 A.D. So, Jesus Christ has known about his imminent return for one thousand nine hundred and fifty-eight years. Let that sink in. Christ said: For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. If a person denies what Christ said about his return, destroying the temple (called heaven and earth by the Jews), ending the curse of the law, which brought death, the last enemy Christ destroyed at his coming, then you must make a choice. In the morning a burnt offering is required, as well as the evening burnt offering, because you are still living under the law. this message is sent in love, your friend

Who is a Jew? Romans 2:28-29. 28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: 29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Do not cherry pick verses to suit your stance.
Romans 11:1-2" I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah-how he appealed to God against Israel"
Romans 11:25-32" I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers and sisters, so that you may not be conceited: Israel has experienced a hardening in part until the full number of the Gentiles has come in, and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob. And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins." As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs, for God's gifts and his call are irrevocable. Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now receive mercy as a result of God's mercy to you. For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all"

Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24.
In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews.
Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5.
Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11.
Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost.
Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24.
Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church.
I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following.
"And then all Israel will be saved..."
I have heard another say the following.
"And all Israel will be saved..."
What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say?
Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse.
How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below.
Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future?
Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith.
Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.
Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews.

    Rapture, false doctrine
This message is sent in love. The rapture is a false doctrine and is mainly derived out of 1st Thessalonians. When was this book written, to whom, and what does it say? Written circa 52 A.D. to a church that was present in 52 A.D., this letter was not written to you. In every chapter Paul/Silvanus & Timotheus (authors) tell the church members that Christ is coming ch 1:10, 2:19,3:13,4:15-16,5:23. If you received a letter telling "you" that the Lord was coming 6 times what would you believe? Exactly. When our Lord was being led away to be crucified; Jesus turned to them, saying, “Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children. He returned in the first century and destroyed the temple in judgement fulfilling the law. Matthew 16:27-28 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.
Daniel tells us Rome would be in power when the everlasting kingdom would be established: Daniel 2:44, 7:14, 9:24.
Christ quoted from Daniel and told "them" (his audience to whom he was speaking) when "you" see the abomination, not us: When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand)
The entirety of the New Testament authors all tell their immediate audience that Christ was coming, in their lifetime. Paul, John, James, Peter all say the same thing. Peter tells his audience they will witness the revelation, 1 Peter 1:13
Christ was sent in the last days, Hebrews 1:2 The "last" days were 2,000 years past. Peter said he was living in the last days, Acts 2.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-16 The word harpazo is used several times in scripture. It means to be caught/gather/taken, some scholars even insinuate a robbery connotation. So, who was the book of Thessalonians written to? A church When? circa 52 A.D. This letter was not written to you. It does not apply to you. You are not a member of the Church of Thessalonica. In chapter 4, the church members are obviously concerned about what has happened to their members who have already died, physically, verse 13. Why? Paul had already told them 4 times in this letter that Jesus Christ was coming. They were looking for him. In verse 14 Paul is telling them that God will also gather them, the ones who have already died physically. If you die a believer, where do you go to reside? Heaven This is your final abode. Where does Abraham, Isaac and Jacob live? Christ was sent to redeem/restore all things in heaven and the earth. Acts 3 And he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you:21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
Almost all of the prophets talked about the "last/latter" days, this is where the New Testament writers get their doctrine. The last days are defined as the "last days" of their covenant. The saints in heaven are not leaving their abode; they are simply included in the "gathering", which is the resurrection/restoration Paul preached. In verse 15 Paul tells this church, that they were going to "be alive", breathing, when the Lord returned. And obviously they would not precede, go before, the saints who physically died and were already in heaven. The gathering/resurrection/restoration was for all things in heaven and earth. Verse 16 the dead in Christ (a believer who physically died and is now residing in heaven) will be restored/resurrected/gathered first) Why? Christ was sent from heaven by his Father. If you live in heaven, then you obviously will participate in order first. Verse 17 then we which are alive and remain, we (these are breathing Thessalonian church members) Paul told "them" that they would see the coming of the Christ, 6 times in this letter. To "meet" the Lord. Just like harpazo has a meaning, this word meet is apantesis. What does this word infer to a first century person?
This word is used for a formal meeting of a dignitary. Everyone in antiquity knew this word meant that a dignitary was coming to your city. They knew this meant that you would send out a welcoming party and usher that dignitary into your city, where they would remain. It never refers to someone coming to your city to get you and take you to a different location.
The second coming/resurrection that Paul preached had nothing to do with physical bodies. He tells us in Acts that his doctrine on the resurrection comes from the law and prophets. This message is sent in love, your friend

Greetings, the mystery was the soon revelation of Jesus Christ. Paul was taught the law by Gamaliel and the new covenant by Christ himself, per Pauls' own testimony. The prophets and law prophesied about the revelation/resurrection that was coming, but they did not get to witness the event. Paul is telling everyone that he sent a letter to that this event was about to happen.
Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed (we are people breathing in the first century who attended church in Corinth) Peter also knew the revelation/resurrection was coming, he told his audience: 1 Peter 1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. Neither man lied to his audience. The revelation occurred in the first century.
But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. Christ said he would return and destroy the temple, ending the old covenant in judgment. The new covenant is now established, this was the revelation of Jesus Christ. your friend
