Hello, I was just wondering which bait you use besides the Pilchards. You said something like show chards ? If you could please reply back with the name of the bait it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Hello Ahmad, the other bait I mentioned was shelled cockles I take the cockle meat out of there shells at home some times before I go fishing so I don't have to do it when I'm fishing and I save the shells for burley for other fishing like yellow fin whiting fishing and fishing off the rocks, in future videos when I get time I shall show you some other baits you can use. Thank you for watching and commenting Ahmad and have fun fishing.

Gday mate, yes the fishing was pretty good very enjoyable and took a nice few feeds of fish home for me and the wife. Hi Matt, i prefer fresh pilchards they are more bloody. I have used brined and they do catch fish but for me fresh is best. Thanks for watching Matt.......David
So I tried to search a bit on the subject and found out that this worm is known to be found around the Australian beaches since it is called Australian worm ! Does this worm 🪱 exist in all beaches around the world ? I have found nothing about it on the net and decided I will go tomorrow morning to the beach to see if it does exist here in France 🇫🇷! Thank you for the infos though it is amazing !
Hi John, yes I think this worm is unique to Australia but only on some beaches in South Australia and up the east coast of Australia, there is a worm in Israel not as long but its head looks the same its on a TH-cam Chanel called Asif Israel fishing the worm is called a moonshine worm. Hope you had some luck finding some worms, if this type of worm isn't there I'm sure there would be some other type of marine worm around, try around the banks of rivers low tide in the mud look for worm castings on the surface next to holes on beaches and low tide mud or sand bars. All the best John with your worm searching and nice to hear from France. Thank you and Cheers David
I’ve heard of a few fisherman being swept out to sea here. Any idea what they were doing wrong? I found myself in a rip here many years ago alongside the cliff. It was crazy strong.. luckily I knew how they work. Big wave smashed me and I found myself back in the rip was just happy to make it back to shore. Never go in the water if you’re not fit or can’t swim at this beach.
Hi Lucifer911 yes I agree mate very strong rip there in that gutter running along the edge of them rocks out to sea especially when there is a big surf running. would have been a scary experience for you and the others you have heard about caught in that rip, glad you made it back the trick is not to fight it go with it and gradually work your way out then catch the waves back in as you knew. I don't know what the fishermen were doing wrong maybe wading out to far to cast or got washed off the rocks. that poor boy who recently drowned there went for a swim there and he shouldn't have, there is a sign at the top which I show at the beginning of this video same as waitpinga beach. some times us people do things without thinking and it gets us in trouble. All the best David
Hi mate, the jacket is a stock rider nylon coat made by weather ware its very light totally waterproof and unutterable also rolls up small to fit in your bag, not cheap but worth it. They are only online just google the name and have a look this is my second jacket I lost my first also made in Australia.
HI David, how are you these days? I went to port noarlunga river mouth last weekend from 4pm to 8pm,there were plenty of salmon but all small ones. So i ll go to Waitpinga again this weekend. Do you think it worth fishing whole night for 2kg salmon, from Friday evening to Saturday morning?
Gday Iun ime not to bad thanks, very eager to get out and do some more fishing as usual. Waitpinga can be very good at night time. Salmon move into beaches at night for safety as well as predators after them the problem at the moment though is there is a big surf running, i'me not sure when it might settle down it will make things a lot harder. If you head down be prepared to maybe not stay the night mate all the best.

@@davidsheldonfishing9726 oh thanks alot bro.it,s okk i will repaire.i went to BCF elizabeth.and a guy told me to bring the reel.hope he will repaire the reel.once again thanks buddy
Gday Stephen. Tailor is a fish I have never targeted in South Australia they are not all that common but I have been lucky enough to have caught 3 one off Waitpinga Beach on half pilchard using the rig shown on my Waitpinga video using bait pt 1 and I have caught 2 off Tunkalilla Beach fishing for mulloway one was over 4 kilo bait whole pilchard. Over the years gone by there has been a few caught from the far eastern end of Waitpinga beach off the reef at low tide and near, some have been as big as 7 to 8 kilo on lures and pilchard. ganged hooks or light wire trace is recommended. Hope that helps David.
Hi Ahmad, No There are no bungum [beach] worms on those beaches unfortunately, but on Adelaide metro beaches thay can be caught all year round. Your hands get cold in the winter time and makes it hard though.
G'day mate, I'm from the midlands England near Manchester. I get asked a bit about my accent and I've lived hear most of my life. Pretty broad these pommy accents. Thanks for watching.
Gday FirstltGiven Tunkalilla when there are gutters formed straight down from the car park its defiantly worth the walk. Bear in mind to see gutters formed can be rare, there can be a lot of the time a big close in shore break. So my advise would be to choose a day when the swell is small and maybe a northerly wind so if there are no gutters you can at least get your bait at the back of the waves The beach is 5km long with some very good fishing. The mulloway in my pic was caught down there a few years ago but they are still there and sharks, salmon sometimes big and other fish.thanks for the sub mate appreciated.
Love the videos David. I'll be heading out to Parsons tomorrow arvo for a sesh on the rods :D Had a good time we went to Waits last time 👌 Have you had much luck on lures? I'll probably try out a Halco twisty 40G along with a rod baited with Pilchards.
G'day ReaLzEdits. Good to hear you got onto a few fish at Waits, I think you might do alright at Parsons tomorrow, hopefully the wind will be ok and you can get into some good water, select a nice looking spot, and use the burley in a spring and I will have to recommend a burley bag there are a few mullet getting around now and a bag will work a treat if keen on some mullet. Yes I've done a bit of lure fishing, works good when theres fish around and fun the Halco twisty is a good lure 30-40G. Tight lines.
G'day Martin. Yes small but tasty, Parsons and Waitpinga we use to catch a lot of bigger fish, these days there are a lot of smaller fish but every now and then the big ones show up and there is some good rod bending action great fun.
Hi Felix best times to fish Waitpinga and Parsons are before daylight and early morning and late afternoon and into the dark and during the night. On overcast days and when the weather is pretty cold and the wind is blowing from the south and even raining fish can be caught earlier in the afternoon and later in the morning. Tides are around 4 hours later than Outer Harbour so low tide is normally late in the afternoon and not as far to cast into good water. When the wind is northerly fishing can be more comfortable but don't get there to late in the morning or go home to early before dark or you might miss out.
Excellent video. thanks for the berley tips, makes the difference. Have fun fishin and stay safe.

Loving your channel, super helpful and fun to watch. Hope things are well for you
Thank you for saying Kennit 0, Hope things are well for you too.
Tight lines.
so small?? video was nice however, but where are the rod benders?
G'day Martin. Yes small but tasty, Parsons and Waitpinga we use to catch a lot of bigger fish, these days there are a lot of smaller fish but every now and then the big ones show up and there is some good rod bending action great fun.
Tasty is good, and I did like the video very much. Hope you post some more like this
Thanks Martin glad you enjoyed the video mate. Hopefully another soon. Cheers David
what is the ideal fishing conditions you look for when you are fishing for salmon at Waitpinga and parsons? love the videos, David!
