This Sea Doo Almost Sunk! (Saving a water ingested engine.)

This ski was very lucky to survive this hose coming loose and then ingesting the water in the hull. I got him backup and running in no time! The owner was very lucky!

Thank you for doing this video. I have the same problem, fortunately I was on fresh water. Trying to decide if I want to repair myself or take into somebody. I'll run in drown mode today and fog the cylinders.

Same thing happened to me on 2023 rxp 300. I almost sank by the time i got to shore full throttle was like 3 mph.

How long can you stay engine running with that hose splitter?

I’ve ran them for 15 minutes before no problem to do a boil out procedure. You just want to spray the ride plate with cool water as well when you run it for long periods of time.
