Can this cards frequency be detected if relay theft is attempted? Should I turn this card off when exiting the vehicle? Also do does this have a servic/valet function for car servicing etc? Or do i need to give the garage the card?
Many of the Driver ID Cards / Tags stop transmitting their frequency after a few minutes of no movement (when put in the drawer / hung up) which means there is no frequency relay theft risk. When the tags are then picked up and carried, the movement reactivates the transmission of the frequency and disables the tracking system and immobiliser (where installed).
No, S5 does not have immobilisation. S5 Plus (other then the Tracker UK S5 Plus VHF product) have remote immobilisation with some S5 Plus models also offering No Tag, No Start. Hope this helps.
Question. In the same way that thieves use a relay system to detect the key, can they not use a relay system to detect the card in the house?

So to clarify, do both S5 and S5+ have the no tag no start feature?
