- quite possibly the worst gamecube game and WORST Batman game ever made, Batman Dark Tomorrow is a stealth action-adventure game that sent to the deepest pits of the gaming world. Today i will attempt to bring it out of that Pit and try to revive it with some criticisms.....this game sucks tho.

This is why searching for clues and files was so key in this game. When I played it, I searched everywhere for items and files that revealed more about the game.
For example: When you first enter Arkham Asylum through the underground and search some of the rooms before finding Dr. McKay; you will find a file that talks about Killer Croc and said file reveals that the water in Crocs cell has to be maintained to a warmer temperature. After finding this, you can reduce the temperature in Crocs cell and make him a lot weaker..
Honestly I didn't fully realize this kinda stuff till near the end of the game! When I started finding it all out it became clear to me how cool all of the little things truly were!
@RoxxSmash I must confess, however, I did utilize cheat codes that made me invincible and gave me unlimited batarangs and smoke bombs. So I didn't exactly beat the game legitimately.

Honestly i have never looked at this game in that light before. MG + RE. Have we been playing this game all wrong? You actually make me want to give this another go. Wow
this was spectacularly scripted and really well edited. I love that every time I watch one of your videos you always shed light on something I otherwise never would have looked at and make something of it. You take me on adventures and inform me on games I'll probably never play but you also give good insight and leave a nice message at the end too! Great Job roxx!

I can say, that Dark tomorrow is the ONLY game that I returned lol. Made rise of Sin Tzu look like a masterpiece by comparison 😅

This game would have been way better if they kept the Bat-Boombox that played salsa music to distract the Arkham Asylum guards
You made good points in this review. Batman: Dark Tomorrow was full of good concepts, but they suffered from lousy execution.
It's just that Reviewers don't focus on finding the pros and actually give constructive criticism to improve the developers, its why developers and publishers no longer trust most game reviewers, look how IGN and Screen Rant try to bash Wukong without actual evidence
You're honestly right. Lots of reviews bombs or critique happen so quick that they can only give a first glance or impressions and by then the game is already too far developed and rushed for time

I can appreciate the intention. It had a good idea and a grand scale… but the end product seems like it’s the pre rough version
Great Review. I was a teenager when this game came out. Even with the major flaws this games has I still have soft spot for it. As you said the score, story and cutscenes are the game's strong merits!

DUDE this was an awesome review! To think I never heard of this game in my life (and for good reason it seems) and listening to you masterfully explain all parts of it was fantastic. You definitely cracked me up a few times even with just looking at the gameplay. The dying animation after getting lit up by those guns is too funny. Keep up the amazing work with this style of video!
I want to play this game despite the flaws sounds like a double edged sword. Like no handholding in games is something I like in games but I get you on your points there right.
Of course! I say if you have the ability, for sure try it out even just to understand it and show yourself it's flaws and interests!

I’ve played this game, I know after watching the video and reading some of the comments here people are rethinking it. However, this game had multiple stages of development and even if there was some concept development in the narrative and story telling, the execution of it all was terrible. A video game at minimum should be playable. A video game can be hard, and that might take people away from the game (e.g. cuphead, dark souls, any of the f-zero games-etc.,all hard), but it was intended to be fun and interesting & due to so many bugs and poor camera angles and gameplay issues, the game breaks pace and immersion and all its flaws are constantly present throughout the entire run. What I like about it, for me is the fact that it’s still Batman, it’s just a bad game. If you think of the lore, you can still find some interesting ideas, but that’s despite the gameplay. The gameplay is the tedious means required to get the story. I think most people would be better off watching the cutscenes and watching a loose walkthrough from someone that already knows the game because it’s a boring experience.
I pretty much agree. I love finding the good parts to bad games like this but yes if it weren't batman as an IP the game would have almost nothing to show for it.
