A joy to watch. If I suddenly become rich one day I'd like an operation very much like yours, a piece of woodlands and some equipment for taking care of the ground. You're really good with that crane too, operating all those levers and still get a fairly calm and collected result out by the grapple is an art. Stay safe. With kind regards from the same country as the Kranman! 😁
Thanks for your kind words! We have grown our little operation over 25 years and just now have some nicer equipment to work with. We are fortunate for sure and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the day!
This log trailer is awesome Jason! I have a Polaris Sportsman 570 that should work great with this Kranman 1750...don't tell my wife!! Thanks for this video, I really enjoyed how much work you can get done with this log trailer. I won't ask what they cost...haha. Stay safe, Ed
Thanks Ed. I went to the dealer to buy a firewood processor and the trailer was an add on! They are expensive but I'm really impressed with the amount of work they will do and the reliability of the machine. Take care, Jason.
Looked like fun to me.. I never would've thought those drive rings on the trailer would ever ice up, how does one solve that problem so one can work all day in cold weather... Great video thanks for sharing.....
That was a great day for sure! The ice came off really easily, I think you just need to be aware that it can happen and keep an eye on it when the snow conditions are right (or wrong as was the case). Thanks for watching!
I've got an 06 kubota BX2350 that would be perfect for that. Very powerful 4 wheel drive but narrow enough to get between the trees. Put a front mount snow blower on it and you won't be sorry
Hi, the manual says to put the drive between the wheels and put it in drive but actually shut the engine down powering the pump. You have good control this way coming down the hills.
I bought it with a power pack that supplied energy to the hydraulic pump so it could be used with an ATV. I have since connected it directly to hydraulics behind a kubota tractor.
JASON IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA TO HAVE A HALF GALLON OR SO OF ALCOHOL AS A DEICER FOR THOSE DRIVE WHEELS. THAT SAVED ME IN WYOMING USA WHEN ICE FROZE IN THE FUEL LINE OF MY CAR.
Thanks for posting these videos. It’s inspiring for sure. I’ve got 100 acres in NS that I’m blessed to be able to manage, I cut and sell a little firewood, and mill some lumber... it’s a good way of life! I subscribed, check out my humble little channel, we’ve got some things in common! Cheers, Jeff
@@OakMountainAcotts I’ll mention your channel on an upcoming video. Your channel should be gaining some traction. It took me a few years to finally reach the magic 1000 subscribers. I wasn’t working that hard at it, but your videos are WAY better than mine. You deserve the recognition!
@@OakMountainAcotts I’ve got a lot going on around here, so I don’t find it all that hard to come up with something. I’m usually so selfish with my time, that I find it too much of a nuisance to film it and edit it. Do you have a Facebook page for your channel?
@@thelogfather5002 we started an Acott’s Firewood page 2 years ago to advertise firewood sales. I quickly found out I could sell out on firewood every year so didn’t do much with the page!
Nice machine .... ty for the video .... well done
Thanks for stopping by!

That looked like a logging operation, just scaled down. Very impressive.
Thanks, this is micro forestry and just a hobby to improve the property in our spare time!
That’s an awesome rig you got there! Nice video
Thanks, it works great for the tree size we have on our Woodlot. I’m watching your videos, your trees are big! Keep up the good work...
That's a pretty slick rig you have there 👍. If I was younger I think I would get one. I'm on the down side of the mountain.
Thank-you! Thinking about getting a little 20+ hp 4WD tractor for it... a little more weight wouldn’t hurt. Thanks for watching!

I am convinced, just working on the wife now!
Thats a pretty nice little toy
It works great! I must have moved 125 cords with it so far…
Your 2006 Honda looks just like my 2015 Rincon. My salesman said Honda is a big believer in "If it's not broke, don't fix it"
I love anything that Honda makes. Very reliable and efficient machines!
Sweden kvalitet 🇸🇪👍❤💪
Thanks for watching!
Can you use the hydraulic to slow down the trailer going down a hill as well? Thanks.

Why dose your trailer have a motor mine runs on hydrolics it's a Weimer 6700 it's pretty nice

Thanks Jeff! Really appreciate the support. Do you find it hard to come up with ideas for content?

Pretty cool. What if you had another axel on your 4 wheeler
She’d be a ripper! Moved up to a Kubota b2601 tractor and more recently a Kubota 4060… now I need a bigger trailer!
