I believe Grammy Awards are for music.
There are various awards around the world for journalism, and known by various names, but I don't know what they're called in Jamaica.
In the U.S., a major one is The Pulitzer Prize for print journalism.

Pulitzer is for print media, not Television.
I believe TV journalism gets Emmy awards. I don't know the names given to journalism awards in Jamaica or even if any are given.

You shouldn't be threatening a reporter for telling the truth. They are being paid, Jamaican tax dollars to work. Not to be socialising on their phones.

There used to be an unwritten rule that they were not to be seen on their phones when in public space and in the vehicles unless it’s absolutely necessary as it was seen as being unprofessional. But this new generation of police are way below par compared to previous years .

Plz do some good media coverage and give updates abt the kids who were beaten half to death for stepping on other kids shoes, the young girl who was beaten half to death again by 7 persons... Some homeless persons who need help do some good. Not that the officers should be on their phones but they have families and kids too. Unuh think it nice fi inna sun.

I want some of the critics to know that police also use phone to so their work. JCF email. Force Orders. Different laws. Operation strategies. Suspected/ wanted persons. Stolen motor vehicles. Ticketing codes among other RTA related soft copies. Information of all sorts which are work related on the phone may very well be the case. Not saying that police doesnt use the phone for entertainment purposes also but it is not for us to judge upon seeing officer with their phone.

This data is causing the regular distraction, social media, regular video call. Drivers using phones, even desk workers, pure phones, security post, samething. If there's no data, well that means so social media or video calls. It tough bad

I really appreciate you and hope that these police officers will be more vigilant, it would be nice if you could use that same expertise to record criminal extorting taxi men in those same location and in Spanish Town and buying guns, and person collecting bribe in government buildings. Please help us reduce corruption in those places too

A man was on one of mutabaruka's programs, talking about this. He said they disrespected him when he confronted some of these officers. "Tap the screen guys."😂😂😂😂
