    I know this is an older video but I am trying to irrigate my lawn better and I would really like to see how you made the irrigation Computer node. Can you show the full code that you wrote and even better go step by step what you put in there so I can understand even more?

      I made a final video on this topic in October. That has the link to the latest code, and earlier videos also go though the logic as well.

    I was playing around with a similar concept when I lived in a different place that required watering on the lawn. I would recommend a tipping bucket rain sensor. I find unless you're right next door to it local rain fall very even within small regions. Additionally, you may want to add manual adjustment parameter that allows you to control the direction of watering incrementally without having to go back and adjust all your other parameters. Finally I wonder if you can run a simulation where you pull the rainfall from 6 months ago, on a daily basis, and just have no red send you an email of whether or not it would have allowed your irrigation system to run or not. Thank you for sharing this project look forward to seeing your progression

      Yes, my Maplin station has that tipping bucket style sensor. Works very reliably. What do you mean "control the direction of watering?". Simulation would be nice... I may have data for it.

    This looks really interesting - are you able to share the flow for your irrigation computer?

      What do you mean more info? I added the Node-Red flow into the video description.

      @@csongorvarga I'm very sorry, but I can't see any link to your NodeRED flow (JSON) file? You have a link to the Hungarian article you based your logic on, and then a list of chapters. Sorry if I am missing something obvious!!

      @@SumnerBoy12 No you are not. I just assumed I exported the flow, but I did not. I updated the video description now with the link.

    Why don't you irritate based on soil moisture?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  ปีที่แล้ว

      I can do that as well. I have a zigbee soil sensor. I guess the question is, can I place it somewhere where it measures the affect of irrigation, but also does not block mowing the lawn

    I like your channel but why do you delete my comment which is made with my best intentions?

      I am sorry. I did see your comments put it into google translate and I did not get anything useful back. I thought it is not related to the video but something else. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
