Honestly Geeta is kinda a villain. She has made many the gym leaders lose their spark for battling/has them constantly living in fear of being replace. She has Larry working a double shift as both a gym leader and an elite four member, Grusha was forced to retire from snowboarding so if he gets fired as a Gym Leader then he won’t have anything left in life, and she forces Katy to hold back in battles because many new trainers come to her gym first so Katy lost the fire she had for battling.
well, grusha can become a mentor to aspiring snowboarders if he ever gets fired. Grusha wasnt forced to retire he physically cant continue, I liked to see it as Greeta giving him another purpose. And Larry is just too focused on the grind he's a salary man of course. And Katy ordered to hold back is because so another great trainer can rise from the top without being discourage at the very 1st gym they challenged, Also Katy has a chance to go all out whenever Greeta or the mc checks the gym leaders if they are getting rusty.
And being chairwoman of the pokemon league, she named herself top champion despite having lost to every single champion ranked trainer, considering that you have to beat her to become a champion
I don't think that read is fair to the writing for her. It seems more that she encourages the Gym Leaders to keep improving as trainers rather than the takeaway being that she's an oppressive force in their lives (and it's fair to have an expectation of their battling capabilities, it's literally their job and she's their boss). As people have said, Grusha's injury is what caused him to stop snowboarding so if anything, Geeta giving him the role of a Gym Leader is good for him as now he is able to move on with his life past his accident. Forcing Katy to hold back is more situational if anything. Again, they have a job to do and if Katy just goes all out on every new trainer, that discourages them from taking on Victory Road and improving as trainers. It's just an unfortunate effect of Katy being based near Mesagoza where most trainers will start out on their journey. While not coded in the game, it's reasonable to assume that canonically in the meta-narrative the Gym Leaders will change out their team depending on how many badges the challenging trainer has, this has been confirmed in some of the other games and side media like the anime.
I wish she actually had some moments than just seeing us around with Nemona. Because I love her design and the battle theme is cool, but honestly, at least to me the fight was easy and she didn't have that much or lore or personality but everybody just saying "She's the Champion of the Champions".

Too bad it had to be the region's champion. Although... if anything, Geeta feels more like a 5th elite four member, with Nemona being the true final boss of Victory Road. I'm not too upset at her being easy, since there's plenty of other boss battles to mop the floor with your team.
You just listed the only 2 "hard" fights in the game lmao. And one is hard just because it's against 6 broken pokemons, and the principal is hard only if he haxes you (lands his moves/abilities side effects, like paralysis from static or from a thunderbolt). Every other fight in the game can be just beaten by your starter/another pokemon+teracrystal, even the titans, i 1/2 shotted every one of them.
@@crillone4567 there’s also the gym leaders and team Star, team star in general is pretty hard as they are not one shotted and can one shot you in return and the gym leaders later on get pretty high level
A good theme for a joke of a Champion. What even is that team setup supposed to be, why is Kingambit not her ace? How did we end up here after Cynthia and Iris? Geeta is just so...forgettable, she's just the woman with the weird alien like looks. Never thought a champ would ever be easier than Diantha. Honestly the best part about this fight is Larry stalking you in the background
Funny enough, since she's the chair-woman of the school, I'd like to believe that the league of paldea is less of an official league and more of an academy curriculum. It's like the league in all regards, but I think it's more akin to the Battle Frontier or the Alola Trials. It would honestly explain a lot to be honest. She is the strongest "Champion" in the league because she is the considered "final test" against the challengers.
Honestly such a interesting character. I seriously love her champion song and her design, paired with an intense yet soft personality and tone of voice. But man…. her fight sucking as much as it does really does suck with her shit team. Imagine saying the line “I am utterly incapable of holding back in battle” and then sending out a Gogoat like….. that’s just embarrassing. It’s not even her fault, just the chuckle fuck who gave her the team. Still, seriously love her design and theme, probably second favorite. Under Cynthia, obviously.
Something that I discovered when I was solo running with a vivillon is that half her team is weak to bug, two are neutral and only her ace walled me. Well “would’ve” walled me if it didn’t change to mono rock. Literally the easiest “champion” Leon was harder Disclaimer: this was done with no items in battle except held item
Ain’t gonna lie, worst champion so far. A good enough heracross counters most of it and her ace wasn’t really even an ace. If she’d gone kinggambit with maybe like a flying type Tera that would have been way harder but instead she goes from rock/poison to just rock 🤷♂️ yeah it’s 4x weakness to just 2x for ground but that’s still a weakness. I get that they tried making her team with just new Pokémon and there are definitely some great ones there but they really screwed her over compared to the BD/SP elite four and champion who had stat boosted Pokémon and items that added a layer of difficulty to relatively simple teams.
Her ace should have been a paradox pokemon like Flutter Mane and Iron Jugulis as both would be good sp. atk replacements to Glimmora. Then both could have the same terra type so as to make both games as similar as possible. Kingambit can stay where he is and Glimmora could have been her opener.
@@gottesurteil3201 nah that would kinda screw with the plot, if the champion league would have been AFTER the crater then yeah. Glimmora toxic spikes in the beginning then a kingambit at the end with a 50% attack buff + a crazy Tera type would be trouble as it is.
I would also take out Avalugg, Gogoat, and Veluza and instead have Baxcalibur, Palafin, and Gholdengo I can also see Kingambit being swapped out for Houndstone with Last Respects, but that's between "Do I want a smaller overall boost or a big boost to one specific move"
Worst "champion" in Pokemon history. Not only did she use the grass goat (why) but the order of her 'mons are messed up. Open with the poison-rock thing, then finish with the ace samurai-bug. Just that would had made a huge difference.
Plus there's also Avalugg Yeah, sure, it's physical bulk and attack is good, but the moment you send out something like Armarouge or Lucario, it's done for, considering it's abysmally slow and has no special bulk whatsoever
You haven’t played X and Y and it shows, Diantha literally shows up once, then gets swept by you using an Aegislash Second place goes to Wallace, homeboy allows you to setup literally any Pokémon and then gets destroyed And close third goes to Iris, forgettable in the anime, forgettable in the first games, gets swept by a fast dragon or ice type in the second games, also her theme is trash
“All the NPCs hate her” It’s literally two being salty and the other getting mad because she can’t drive away potential high end trainers, plus Larry being Larry Diantha, Wallace, Iris and Leon are all worse
I want to believe she was just holding back since if nobody could beat her, nobody could become champion, and she's got better strats than what she presented you with. On the other hand, it was still a really weak game lol
It would've been cool if she used a better team composition in the academy ace tournament but they deciding "nah let's just make her team the exact same but with higher levels"
@@Goblinhandler I was referring to her fight as "game", like when a sports team loses it's considered "weak game." The LITERAL game itself is awesome lol
she gets swept by a skeledirge like of all the end game trainers cassiopeia, arven, nemona, elite four, and geeta the only trainer who gave me less trouble was poppy because skeledirge sweeps her even harder
funny enough for as much as people bitch about her team (I agree its way too easy) I found the final fight with nemona even easier just bring in one fighting type and you can wipe out half her team in one hit ironic that one of her own pokemon can cause her downfall
Thanks for watching everyone! Let me know what you think of this theme! Personally I like it:)

People be loving Iono and I'm just here looking at my mature queens Geeta and Tulip
I loved Geeta. She's generally a nice and caring person who wants the best for all the Paldea region's Trainers.
I love it
Nice, would be a shame of this became a five second loop
Toby Fox is a genius!
I swear i thought this was the old one cuz the drawing
Something that I discovered when I was solo running with a vivillon is that half her team is weak to bug, two are neutral and only her ace walled me. Well “would’ve” walled me if it didn’t change to mono rock. Literally the easiest “champion” Leon was harder
Disclaimer: this was done with no items in battle except held item
Explains why she wants Katy to hold back for challengers...
Reminds me of gen 5
I would also take out Avalugg, Gogoat, and Veluza and instead have Baxcalibur, Palafin, and Gholdengo
I can also see Kingambit being swapped out for Houndstone with Last Respects, but that's between "Do I want a smaller overall boost or a big boost to one specific move"
Bruh don’t act like your ass used heracross, Alola friendly rival, Kukui, Diantha and Leon are worse
Why does the music also remind me of Telenova intro?
Worst "champion" in Pokemon history. Not only did she use the grass goat (why) but the order of her 'mons are messed up. Open with the poison-rock thing, then finish with the ace samurai-bug. Just that would had made a huge difference.
Plus there's also Avalugg
Yeah, sure, it's physical bulk and attack is good, but the moment you send out something like Armarouge or Lucario, it's done for, considering it's abysmally slow and has no special bulk whatsoever

Cynthia sure had set a precedent that is hard to beat.
You haven’t played X and Y and it shows, Diantha literally shows up once, then gets swept by you using an Aegislash
Second place goes to Wallace, homeboy allows you to setup literally any Pokémon and then gets destroyed
And close third goes to Iris, forgettable in the anime, forgettable in the first games, gets swept by a fast dragon or ice type in the second games, also her theme is trash
You know what Geeta sounds like. It sounds like Denis and Denis was a menace. Connection?!
How many of us never heard this theme in-game because of that stupid glitch?
Her hair looks like i could drive on it
She scared me during the whole game lol
Such a trash champion, all the NPCs hate her, she's extremely easy, and even Nemona kicked her butt without effort.
“All the NPCs hate her”
It’s literally two being salty and the other getting mad because she can’t drive away potential high end trainers, plus Larry being Larry
Diantha, Wallace, Iris and Leon are all worse
I want to believe she was just holding back since if nobody could beat her, nobody could become champion, and she's got better strats than what she presented you with. On the other hand, it was still a really weak game lol
It would've been cool if she used a better team composition in the academy ace tournament but they deciding "nah let's just make her team the exact same but with higher levels"
“Really weak game” bruh literally the best story a Pokémon game has had
Miss me with the Gen 5 nostalgia bs, the story was hard carried by ghetsis
@@Goblinhandler I was referring to her fight as "game", like when a sports team loses it's considered "weak game." The LITERAL game itself is awesome lol
she gets swept by a skeledirge
like
of all the end game trainers
cassiopeia, arven, nemona, elite four, and geeta
the only trainer who gave me less trouble was poppy because skeledirge sweeps her even harder
funny enough for as much as people bitch about her team (I agree its way too easy) I found the final fight with nemona even easier just bring in one fighting type and you can wipe out half her team in one hit ironic that one of her own pokemon can cause her downfall
I am fine about everything with her design except the hair. Really GameFreak? Her fight was pretty difficult and enjoyable.
Her design reminds me of marina from Splatoon in a way
I think this sounded too silly for a champion theme, it doesn't feel serious at all and around 1:00 starts to sound like a Banjo-Kazooie theme
Disagree entirely but alright
Someone has never heard Iris’ theme
Champion Kim Kardashian disappoints me
Her team is terrible. I hope the DLC fixes that.
👁️w👁️
Olé
Like why did she had the worst team as a Champion? Like come on lol
Diantha and Leon have way worse teams by far, all she need to do is switch up its order
Don't like her character,.kinda like her team, love the theme
Ngl compared to all the awesome.music in this game. This right here is a Garbage champion theme man 😭😭
正直あんまり印象に残ってない😂😂
Geeta's not a very good trainer
A disappointing theme for one of the easiest champions in Pokemon history.
The theme is great and she’s not that easy, she can’t be swept by a steel type like Diantha
But half her team is weak to bug
The most forgettable theme for the most forgettable Champion.
The theme is really good
Great theme and no champion is forgettable when Wallace, Iris and Diantha exist
@@Goblinhandler Wallace and Diantha sure, but why Iris?
@@danilio8 she literally shows up once, when you fight her, her theme is not a champion theme, and her design is kinda bad
One the Best theme on the history Pokémon games
