- We somehow managed to get a scrim against a pick-up including Pyon and after the first one they wanted to play again so we ended up doing all maps.

That Japanese charger is insane. I’ve been watching the kill feed, he consistently slays a team and rarely dies. Insane
He is the best non- scope charger user in the world. Japanese splatoon 2 pro, almost a living legend

@@justincruz2193 Dunno what you mean by playing a different thing, but this guy definitely is pyon. The nickname reads pyon in japanese (although its different from the scrim the japanese part still reads itself to be pyon), and his charger skills prove pretty much everything. I am certain that he is pyon.
High skilled chargers are the most dangerous and good for both teams having them😱😱

Glad that I'm not the only one that has to deal with immense JP lag (01:40). Not blaming them but makes having a balanced match difficult. Otherwise great watch. Thanks for posting.
It's unfortunate it happens yeah, but personally I don't mind latency in matches if it means more closer skilled and intense matches. I'm glad some Japanese people are still open to overseas scrims.
@@BrianTheDrummer Can't argue with that. I think I get more irritated with the JP = Gods vs. NA = Trash comments that never end. Feels like an easy out to a question no one asked. Quite obvious Splat is much bigger in JP than anywhere else so definitely have more pub for their top players but there's some damn good players in NA, EUR, AUS and everywhere else. As for scrims, I defer to you.
Yeah, I think especially looking at the top teams in each region I feel a lot of them are very close. JP has more players at these skill levels but nonetheless it's still close. I'm very interested to see what will happen at the world cup coming soon.

@@meowstycal it was a rough ride in the beginning but now I'm using an E-liter (which does suck for trying to charge up a shot) I'm now more confident to snipe squids without the constant fear of "theres someone behind me isn't" without me having to take my eyes of the target
@@darkmegazero6722 whenever I use the charger I always die from behind I keep forgetting to check if anyone’s coming towards me. Also are you still using the charger?
@@adatheisa Try not to be too paranoid about it just be sure to check around you just in case ever now and then and if you don't feel say group up with a teammate or move to another location

Probably, but more likely because they want to add new specials just like they did for Splatoon 2. As of now it's not really broken and especially for SZ you can build comps that don't rely on stingray. It's hard to balance the special for sure, but at the same time you also need some of these infinite range specials in the game.
They shud make it that the ray only has it widespread if there's a teammate near the ray. Or make the ray so that it's full power if all the teammates are alive. Just some Ideas ;D
I think stingray is pretty balanced, since it takes a lot of mastering to be good at. That’s just my unpopular thought lol

Hey Brian, I noticed that you build ray to start some splat zone maps (arowana and mackerel from what I’ve watched of you) why is that? Is it to prepare for ray duel or to clear center for your team a bit?
The way the maps are designed make them very favourable for stingray and especially on a map like Arowana where the time it takes the team to reach mid is about the time you can get stingray in spawn.

THAT STINGRAY IS SO ANNOYING AND ITS TERRIFYING
I’ve been practicing chargers in Splatoon for a while now and I think I’m pretty good for a low power level X rank player, but I just can’t really get a hang on the stingray. Do you have any pointers or have you made a video that I somehow haven’t seen yet lol
To improve with stingray I suggest trying focus on timing and aim/prediction. To time your stingray well there are usually a few things I keep in mind: 1. Do we have another special 2. Is the team ready or about to push in 3. Is the Rainmaker/Tower being pushed (preferbly use ray on TC checkpoint). Important to remember is that ray generally functions as a way to seperate and damage the opponent and thus create an opening for your team. Therefore it's important to use ray with another special or when your team is pushing in.
Improving aim is something that can take time unfortunately, however it might help to open the map to see where opponents move. Try to also analyze what kind of movements people make to avoid your ray since there are some common patterns. Finally make sure to have paint around your ray position in case you need to adjust.

There are some of these cases, another one being sniping an inkjet just before it ends, where it doesn't kill the player. Not really sure how it works but it's usually just a few if not one frame where this can happen.

Fake Madrid you can’t just watch a video a base all your information on that, they for sure have different techniques and different ways of approaching, it’s not so much about giving the other player a challenge, and of course it’s not consistent, seeing the two play they are almost at the same skill level, i feel like Pyon is just a slight bit better able to consistently get those stingray kills but pretty even on both sides

Either way, I don’t think this is a new team, because I don’t think Kraken Paradise disbanded, or has more that 4 members, but what do I know?
