    DiResta...don't organize too much..one of the many..many...many reasons i tune in is to look at all the kool stuff you have jammed into every nook amd cranny of your workshop..reminds me of my daddios shop..and my grandpops workshop...i bet it smells funky in there too...you can't get that from an organized shelf and tables...YOU ROCK BROSKI!!!

    I love the tape in corner to get the radius for the drawer base. Definitely will be using that one. Thanks

    Jimmy, your workflow is what really impresses me most. I think thats where you can see the difference between a pro and a hobbyist. All the tools and fine craftsmanship are useless, if you need to work on time. Thx for these videos, greetings from Austria :D

    Jimmy, yes Sycamore. Good wood in small thin pieces but not so good for larger stuff as it moves a lot. I really liked the "ad" this time. It was just a Christmas Carol, nothing else! First ad I watched in a long time. Merry Christmas to you as well.

    Nice South Bend Lathe also like the Drawer very handy when working. I built my own Lathe stand out of 1x1 square tube and welded it. and built a shelf on the bottom to hold a small file cabinet it holds bits indicators tool holders chucks etc it works good with my 12inch Atlas Lathe but also thinking about a small pullout drawer like yours to lay my Mic and Dial Cals on your Garage looks like mine but I am starting to get rid of a lot of stuff so I can work in it

    Looks awesome. One little suggestion. You need to make a filler piece to close the gap between the top of your drawer assembly and the bottom of the lathe table (behind your Diresta stencil). You'll be cussing after the first few tools/bits go rolling through that gap and get stuck or fall all the way out the back, because we can already see you're using that surface area to lay things down on.

    Nice box joints. I've made a bunch of them myself. I got the the point where I'd clamp all 4 sides together and cut them all in one go. Vise Grip swivel pads are where it's at for doing that. Watching this I'm thinking Jimmy needs to make himself a woodworking vise. I mean come on already. If you wanna see how I made mine I can post links to pictures. Not that I think mine is the greatest. It ain't. But it is better than nothing.

    • @jacksonhammond9148
      @jacksonhammond9148 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      His videos have been stolen in the past, and they cut off the credits and gave Jimmy no credit. But if his name is on the product, they can't cut it out. And really, it's more than just his name, it's his company logo. Huge manufactures like Samsung and Rolex put their logo on all their products and everything they make, why can't Jimmy?
