  • So the first stop on my mega trip was in Brian Head Utah. It's in the high desert with red rock views and has the most dry powder in all of Utah, Which is known for the world's greatest snow. I had visited this resort in the summer 3 years ago when I had just moved to Arizona and wasn't even a snowboarder then. I decided to go back just for a memory/nostalgia thing, even though I knew it is more of a flat and family small resort but I had to go! Plus it's super cheap, Hotel and half day weekday lift ticket all stayed under 100 bucks combined! So enjoy this video, and be prepared for the next videos coming up, which are in Colorado!

Utah really does have the best snow. Too bad it was only a few inches and not a full dump. Still an amazing groomer day though and amazing views of Cedar Breaks and other red rock cliffs and canyons

Those groomers look fun I'm gonna go to Brian Head in December. I'm excited.

It’s probably one of the best groomer resorts in America I believe

Sadly Brian head rarely gets super deep powder. It’s very light and dry snow. Great place for groomers but unless a storm can dump 2 feet of dry snow really fast, I wouldn’t go off the trails there

@@PhaseSkater good to know! I might move to Cedar City UT and this would be close and cheap

@@Chris11249 it’s honestly my favorite resort in Utah. The terrain isn’t challenging but it’s a really pretty area and it’s really chill and about having fun. Snowbird is good if you’re trying to go hard but Brian head is great for meditation riding it that makes sense. I like the vibes

Cedar breaks lodge. The best western premiere( used to be called grand lodge) is a better overall hotel but less amenities. Cedar breaks lodge is good for families though. Lots of kids running around and play areas

@@DJOmega375 best western plus which used to be grand lodge. And obviously go on a weekday versus weekend and stay on steeper upper mountain runs. I’m actually going on Monday to brian head lol

Look on airbnb you can get super nice condos for 86 a night to 105 instead of the lodge and some of the condos up there are really nice and updated.

Apparently they had night skiing the night before so a lot of the side off piste areas got tracked out while it was snowing at its hardest. The groomers were probably the best I’ve ever ridden in my life though. Super super soft fresh groomers with a light dusting layer over them and it being sunny. Nothing steep sadly.
