@@grump9283 casual Yair never ducked zabit he accepted the first time they offered him in 2018/19 he just asked for more money since zabit wasn’t a top 10 opponent that’s what Yair wanted to fight someone in the top 10 but the UFC said no, hence why he got the TKZ fight (10) and Jeremy fight (8)
When they booked the zabit fight again Yair had to pull out because of an injury

Cruz was so ahead of his time with his technique and footwork. He simultaneously was best striker and wrestler of that division in his prime. Both him and cain could have had even more phenomenal careers if it wasn't for their constant injuries. Dom is always BM goat for me.

I disagree strongly with the dom Cruz/aljo goat take. Not only do people not count his WEC defenses(even tho the division literally didn’t change) but with context aljo’s title run was questionable. He “won” the title, then defended twice in fights that could’ve went either way,then got a former champ that had no business being there

@@good8619 i am not talking about confidence, honestly. I am talking about his skill and physical ability. Boxing made Conor a much less flashier and mobile fighter imo. Conor was still pretty young at that time, so i think he could at least keep in the peak of his techinical ability and would have far more chances to win, but that is only my view.
@@guilerso7796 the boxing fight should've made him a better striker if anything, and if you look at Conor before and during khabib fight he fought exactly the same (outside of all the crazy cheating i dont think he did so much cheating before hand and since then) the fight ends up exactly the same way. I mean if you really think about it, it was only a year he had been away. Maybe you could argue that khabib woulda been less experienced as the barboza fight was a good indicator of how the conor fight would turn out.

Yoel Romero vs Anderson Silva
If Urijah Faber had won a championship in the UFC, it would have changed his legacy completely. He would have gone down as a UFC legend rather than a top contender who fell short of the championship. It would have elevated his status as a fighter and he would have been regarded as one of the best bantamweights in history. If he had beaten Barao in their championship fight it he would have proved that he wasn't just a choke artist and could handle the pressure of a championship fight. It would have given him a huge confidence boost and we might have seen a version of him we never saw against Cruz.
Disagree with that last point. Faber beat cruz in his first fight so he already had a lot of confidence going into that, and he arguably couldn't have gotten much more confidence then knowing you already beat the champ.

This is a great vid ngl. Tony would’ve won the first two fights imo but that 3rd fight Khabib would’ve won easily. I do think Connor could’ve figured him out. I think Khabib would’ve done ok against GSP’s Welterweight era but against the taller welterweight generation that came after, Khabib would be without his overhand to double leg entry and might’ve ended up looking like Colby did when he fought Leon. Facts on Nick, GSP himself wanted to see Nick fight Woodley and Usman.

When you look at it objectively there is literally no debate that Cruz is greater than Aljo. Resume, title defenses, title fight wins and the way he won those fights compared to aljo.
The only argument for aljo is "oh he has the most consecutive ufc bantamweight title defenses" which is the most biased, casual and out of context argument ever
