The comic was of a Eevee that it's trainer was raising to be an Umbreon, after it had evolved onto a Sylveon only for its trainer to turn around and horrendously abuse and hurt it because they wanted an Umbreon. I have never been able to breed Eevees since, for the same reason I don't think about all my Minecraft pets.

I work in an arcade that’s attached to a mall and inside that mall is a store that sells pokemon merch and is regarded as the American pokemon center (you know the Japanese chain store of officially licensed merch?) and I managed to get off work early one night before the mall closed and snatched it up. Last one in stock. They can’t keep it around for long

@@groundbeef2 I'd normally agree but it would be really funny if they added a new dudunsparce evolution that turned it into a dragon but the catch is that only the three segmented dundunsparce can evolve to the dragon, making a dragon evolution that is locked behind a 3 segmented sparce would be funny but adding a gorgeous shiny version would be even funnier
Mine evolved from defeating the first Titan, which as some of you may know, lead to some... visual glitch. Basically, the camera panned AWAY from my Wooper, to show ANOTHER identical Wooper who then proceeded to evolve! After a couple minutes of laughter from this, I clicked A to continue the post-evolution dialogue, to which the camera zoomed out... and revealed my OG, still unevolved Wooper model chilling next to the evolved one! So when my sides stopped hurting, I renamed my Pokémon Clonesire. To this day, I'm still looking for my original Wooper friend who deserved to evolve. XD

To be fair, it is actually very competitively viable. Unaware + chonk stats AND then Fissure gave rise to the stall/OHKO meta that was absolute degen'ing the online scene.
@@LongClawzHidden Ya, the hippo, and the Rocksalt guy were the other 2 pokemon people used, but everyone caught a wooper within the 1st route of the game so it was the pokemon people learned to abuse the mechanic with, when Scarlet/Violet first came out. Statistically it made more sense to just stall out your opponent with a Clodsire who could have a tank setup, and just spam Fissure until you won. And Unaware made it so that enemy team setup was completely useless. It was basically a "Diamond" cannon instead of a glass one.

Only mon that was viable with fissure was ting Lu in vgc. Cold is used but only as a special stall wall. It is terrible in doubles tho.
