Yay! This worked for me. It doesn't result in an easily editable outline, but I only need to do this on a few images. I like the `offset` idea. Works great
Thanks for making this! Question: You don't mention what you pressed after "create background" to make the image re-appear. I selected cmd+F again but no matter what I do, the "Offset Path" option is grayed out for me. What am I missing here?
I was quite excited about it but then the image trace just turned the whole btmap image a big white square. (Just found out the mistake: The color must be back because the image trace always create a white background, so there's must be a black image to contrast, ops! Thank uuuu)
adjust color balance is greyed out for me where i cant even click on it... -__- welp time to go find another video that doesnt rely on quick key commands...
You missed to specify a KEY step: the raster image has to be EMBEDDED, not LINKED.
You're literally a LIFE SAVER, now I know why the Adjust Colors wasn't available. Your comment should be pinned all the way up. Thank you so much ✨
Thanks bro
Thank you !! This helped a lot!

Hi - After creating background I sent the layer to back.
Shortkey for send to back => (CTRL+SHIFT+[ )
very helpful video
I think you have to learn Illustrator before trying this. So I'm gonna go look at some tutorials and come back.
Thank you 👍🏼
