It was my first time going but I’m planning to also go back at Christmas as I really enjoyed it. Obviously pros and cons to both locations like the constant passing of people around you as seen in my video but the price is pretty good compared to the Piccadilly store that’s currently has afternoon tea at £78pp but that’s bottomless. Also to note it’s not open on Saturdays & Sundays for Afternoon Tea at the F&M Royal Exchange so that would mean it may not be that suitable for some people.

This venue reminds me of Brookfield Place in Toronto where they've created a domed square amongst some lovely old buildings. Very beautiful.

Hello Jos. I have just discovered your channel. Very impressed with the video and your nice presentation. I did not know that there was a F&M store in the Royal Exchange. The price seems very reasonable to me and the food looks wonderful. It is 1.00 AM here in Buenos Aires and I went to make a sandwich and some coffee, I could not resist after seeing you enjoying those delicious sandwiches and pastries! 😁😁 Very nice to meet you and I am looking forward to more of your videos. Hi Claudio, it’s lovely to know you enjoyed the afternoon tea video. The F&M Royal Exchange is a more affordable option compared to going to the main F&M store but they only do the afternoon teas in the week and only for a few hours each day. Thank you for the video. Have you ever tried scone with passion fruit curd and clotted cream? I have been reliably informed that it's a huge hit. I prefer raspberry jam to strawberry but regardless it should be a jam for me. Perhaps the cherry creation should have Kirsch! Oh lovely idea. Elderflower is great but I wonder why lemon verbena is little used? My father and a few relatives were/are architects and they rate the exchange too. The property developers in the family would probably rip it to bits and start from scratch to make more money. Sheer sacrilege. Traditional is so comforting somehow.
I have tried passion fruit curd in NZ and I did see in my last visit to Fortnum & Mason they do passion fruit curd, so I plan on buying a few more bits when I'm next in store.I did really like the building so I plan to go back at Christmas as I think it will look lovely and festive. I also found it helpful to shop at the store after my afternoon tea as I didn't realise until I had a chat with the lovely manager, that I could get a 10% discount so naturally I went in the store and got my fave F&M biscuits 🤗

Hello Jos, I will visiting in December 2024, where is the Royal Exchange located . Can I get there by subway ?
Yes the nearest tube station is Bank Station and pretty much across the road to it. Also the afternoon tea is only on Monday - Friday and not all day if you do decide to try out the afternoon tea out. When I went there if you keep your afternoon tea receipt you get 10% in the Royal Exchange F&M shop so I stocked up on my fave pistachio and clotted cream biscuits which I love ❤️ It was great to get a discount and save some $$$ too.
