    This couple probably saved the kids lives by adopting them and kept them from being split up. Good job kids for getting good grade in school and the parents!! Great family! Hopefully they're still doing great.

      Some people in this comment section are actually feeling bad for the parents instead of their children! The current parents did save their lives though the God's grace.

    What is amazing is how well those girls speak. Often children who are abused are withdrawn, nor quite normal, unable to make eye contact but instead they seem fine - it is really interesting. May be they had love from the parents but no tooth brushes so the basics for being happy were there but not the physical stuff and that is why they seem okay emotionally or may be having each other made up for absent parents. Brilliant they can stay together.

    • @Nat_Chas
      @Nat_Chas 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They were in and out of the Hawthorne home for the past 3 years+ so may be initially they were withdrawn but with time they stabilized.
      They also urged the couple to adopt them not long after they were placed in their foster care.
      Yes staying together and having each other's company also helped.

    I thank God for bringing these children to a loving family. There would be many similar stories but with a less than happy outcome. Children would be separated to go to different families, especially foster homes. It's amazing that this couple took every one of them into their home. I have no words for their bio parents.

      @@RYNGIN In the last documentary the kids talked about their time before they entered the foster system. They talk about not having anything to eat for days, about neighbors, that secretly gave them food, about sharing one bed and sleeping on the floor most days, about not feeling save on a daily basis. My heart breaks for every family, that is ripped apart, but I am always going to chose to believe the children first. I don't know what brought the parents to this point in their life, but it didn't happen over night. They chose to accept a lot of things, that are unacceptable. They had this coming. If you have 7 kids sleeping on the floor, you can't expect that nobody is going to notice. And thank God someone noticed.

      @hayleymarse2853 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      So girls can’t wear boys? Bows aren’t religion. They seemed really excited about bows. Jojo Siwa is popular with girls their age and they never got to enjoy things like bows when they were younger. Even if their family is religious, it isn’t a bad thing. People are free to raise their children how they think is best (as long as it’s not abusive like their biological family)

    • @Happybidr

      @@marycassidy1695 There is nothing wrong with bows, of course.. But don;t use some snarky preacher’s little sayings to lie about what is so obvious to the rest of the world. Yes, teaching kids about Jesus IS dealing with religion. You might not like the connotation that word carries, but you need to at least be honest about it.
