Hey Charlie. My name Ruby Johnson. I am from Laguna Pueblo. The video is showing a Sub Division of homes in Casa Blanca which is part of the Pueblo. Thank you for the video and there is much more to see. There are Seven villages that make up the Pueblo. I live in Texas now and it warms my heart to see MY Pueblo where I grew up since I have not been home for awhile. No Skinwslkers there!!! Happy Traveling 😊

Thanks for watching. I didn't go further onto the reservation because it was actually closed to outsiders due to the Coronavirus. This part was right on the edge. I'll probably show more next time I'm out west.

My home was Laguna about 5 years. Graduated from LA High in 67. My grandmother was Edith Marmon. I am related to my dad's side of the family. He passed in 72 John Evans. I knew Fred and Suzie Marmon , along with Rachel Anaya and her sister Esther. I remember Rachel's tamales so well. Laguna is a place of very proud people.

I said I never knew you could just simply walk/drive in to an Indian reservation, no questions asked. And also Charliebo never depicted one before. Fuck off with your self righteous bullshit.

@@FGH9G you can drive on the Rez but you can not get out. It's federal land and it's trespassing. You'll get warned. Also there have been a lot of tourist coming through and tagging places that are sacred. So if you get caught doing it's not only a charge from the tribe, but also a federal charge.

Would of been cool if you came through during feast day or one of the dance days . You go to acoma , it's a little off topic but they are close neighbors Anyway taos Pueblo and acoma pueblo are somewhat competing for oldest continuous habitation in the country. the northern most Pueblo and practically most southern both been in same place for 1000 years ,Laguna established probably close to that date too possibly even before.

I'm always conflicted when I drive by these areas. I think first that I would love to live simply in the desert. Then I remember these people arent doing so intentionally but because of the worst poverty in the country. Rips me apart to see such a social disaster in the midst of this beauty.

In a few centuries time, the teacher will say, “ now kids today we will continue our journey around early 21st century America with Charliebo”. As teacher dims the lights and turns on the viewing screen, a silent awe sets in as the video starts. Every American kid loves studying Charliebo.

I have traveled on roads which if one pulls over there are sharp rocks on the side of the road which I got a flat tire near Silver City in the mid 1990's just to get out of the tailgaters way but when my tire popped, the person kept driving. I couldn't afford a cell phone in those days because it was too expensive. The rough road Charlie just got on nobody could pay me enough money to travel on it unless I had my phone with me. Charlie is not scared of any road. 4:53
