Hey, Kojo! Great video, I was also looking at building a deck like this based off of Neesh's list. I really enjoy your content and analysis a lot, you're my favorite Altered Content Creator! Keep up the great work and looking forward to seeing more videos!
Hi Kojo! Thanks for the video! At 30:15, I think you could've replayed the skald from your reserve to stop the opponent's hero expedition from advancing! I don't know if it would've helped, but a Sigis getting 2 expeditions in a day that far in the match is basically gg :(((
imo the best uniques for this deck is plain stat sticks lol. any name that doesnt conflict with what youre already using with a spike stat would qualify ada lovelace and stargazer for mountain, lyra skald for forest, lady of the lake for water. if they have an effect that you can actually pull off thats a bonus. support effects that reduce cost or bounce cards from reserve is even better
I agree! Having strong stats on your cards is one of the most important parts of this deck. Any unique that's basically the same as the common but with better stats would qualify for this
Love your videos and insight. With you using BGA might I suggest you use it's history feature so you have more control on pacing and what you want to record for these videos? See Ellio as another TH-cam example of how this feature can be used.
Yeah it's a good idea and I've looked into it. I want to get rid of these long pauses when the opponent thinks. It's just that I don't use BGA often so I'm a bit unacquainted with the features. Thanks for the tip!
Awesome video! May I ask for an opinion? I started playing recently and i took the Yzmir starter deck. I'm having a blast with it, so i looked for some cards and I saw the Yzmir Bastion. It sound good, since it says i have a free spell every turn, but it costs 8. Is it worth? Or its just meh?
@@giuliorazzano474 Thanks for the comments! Whether these cards are good or bad depends on your game plan. Yzmir doesn't only have one strategy, you can go multiple ways. For the deck I showcased in the video, both of the cards you mentioned are bad because they are too slow. Kadigir can be playable in other ways in Yzmir (although personally I wouldn't), but Kraken's Wrath is generally pretty weak I feel. Check out my previous video (Control in Altered) for more reasoning about why Kraken's Wrath is weak!
@KojoMain thanks a lot! I'll go check the video as soon as possible! Can't wait for more videos! I love how you explain moves and possible other actions!
Yeah, that's the downside. I really liked Exaltered too when I played it during the beta, it's a well made client with lovely music :D Personally, I don't mind playing without uniques but I've heard a lot from viewers that they want to see uniques so.... But yeah personally I prefer Exaltered too
@@TheDusk14 Check out the introduction, this deck is a tempo deck built around trading expeditions and then stealing the game. Grand endeavor is: -too slow -too expensive, which means you do nothing else on the turn you play it -doesn't give you immediate value so you just lose both sides that turn and probably the game -overall it's a control card not a tempo card. As I said in the video, if Yzmir had more cost reduction there could be a cool turbo endeavor deck but as it stands, the gameplan of winning with endeavor is (in my view) just not feasible. I talked about this in more detail in my previous video (Control in Altered). It lists all the problems Yzmir control has right now and why an Endeavor deck is difficult. I'm sad about it because I'd like to play it but it's not a thing right now.

Yeah I realized that too when I watched the replay, it's only a tie on the hero expedition but it's worth it I agree. Thanks for pointing it out!
Your deck idea is great 😎🤴🏻
It's not my idea! But thank you very much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :D
Ah okay 😁🤴🏻 whatever
Hello! Great video! At 33:30, "after you" from Akesha would be nice...
You can't do that if you're not the starting player that round.

Also, in this list how would you see Kraken's wrath instead of Sleep Beauty? I know it costs more, but it's a multiple target removal

I play Akesha a lot 😎😁
I really enjoy exaltered to play all my altered games online with friends, only problem is there's no uniques

Awesome deck! Question, though: Why did you not put Grand Endeavor?
My dude, Grand Endeavor goes against everything this deck wants to do xD
Appreciate your response! May I ask why, though? The first card I thought of was Grand Endeavor when I saw the decklist...

@@marcelbehncke900 Hello! Thank you very much, I‘m delighted :D
No problem 😎🤴🏻 can I call you Sir ?

Krakens wrath is a useful card against ordis
In the Wrap-up section I talk about why it's not in this deck :D
is impossible to read the cards on your hand, even with the higher resolution :/
That's why there's a card showcase on the right :D
