      I own a Suzuki Kizashi and I've run into the same issues trying to find parts.

    • @That_Handle
      @That_Handle 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh this is a bit concerning since I'm scanning for a ~2000 through 2010 Ranger. What parts or production years should I be concerned with avoiding or gravitate towards acquiring? Is it mainly plastic and rubberized trim pieces that might be helped or refreshed with a rubber or plastic rejuvenator or are we talkin more crucial items that are becoming scarce?
      Namely, I'm seeking a surface rust example, at worst, with a corresponding body condition but do an engine swap into an example that's four-wheel drive. Wonder if there are plenty of outfits that know how to do a proper rebuild if not maybe an upgrade if the one is available for the transmission internals. The company I've found when researching swap kits includes that transmission adaptor plate, engine mounts and adapting accessory brackets but it won't be worth the effort at following through the spreadsheet if crucial parts are can't be found....Any aftermarket availability or New Old Stock scarcity having to do with the braking system including the ABS, four-wheel drive, AC, power steering and transmission?

    It has been an absolute pleasure watching your channel. You exhibit all the qualities that will usher success to anyone in life. Determination, ingenuity, problem solver, solution oriented, strong work ethic, off color humor that makes me laugh out loud, and you are pretty easy on the eyes too. A winning combination for sure!

    I had a 93 Ranger extended cab with the 4.0L. I really expected it to sound a little louder with the headers and exhaust.

    This is a great watch! I'm European so we don't get these Rangers here, and watching one come to bits and back alive again is truly something else.
    Also, all the little stars and checkmarks and sound effects just crack me up. :) Keep it up!

    Nice job, Sarah! I _felt_ that jump for joy, when you took your Gram's Ranger out of the shop under it's own power. That's the satisfaction of a project that is almost done.
    Not only would your Gram be proud of you, but I'm also going to say, all the hard work has been worth it.
    Plus, thanks for taking us along for the ride, as well as providing me, at least, info I'm gonna need when I restore my own Ranger!

    That's one clean Ranger. It's absolutely gorgeous. Probably the cleanest and nicest second-gen Ranger ever. And in it's iconic 90s Teal color. That's a keeper for sure, especially with the sentimental value in it. Great restoration. It would look great next to my Area 51 Maverick! LOL!
