    Hardware is MXG Hinderer style and I polished the pocket clip. Original hardware was black and I wanted it monochromatic. Thanks for putting such a sweet edge on it brother!!

      Yeah thats what i thought but wasnt positive about the hardware, but i like this hardware anyway looks very tough, amazing knife for any collection and im glad that i got to sharpen it and finally get my hands on one

      It was really cool to watch you review my knife! You did a great job! The only thing I don’t like about the knife is the dbl clutch... but I’d does get easier after you handle it for a bit like you mentioned

      Love the silver hardware on the Ti! Looks great! Notice ANY play in the pivot/blade connection? I had a previous 0562CF with the awesome MXG pivot but the pivot was like a couple thou too small so there was some blade play. Anyone else have that issue?

    This is why I use belts to sharpen my knives, so I can handle things like recurves - or any kind of curve for that matter. The Ken Onion Worksharp is an extraordinary tool.

      Agreed, I have the same system, and it’s so much easier & quicker than a manual system. Puts a great convex edge on it too

    I’ve gotta say, I don’t know what they were thinking with the stock black hardware. I’m sure some people like it, but it looks awful to me. It’s nice to see one with some better coloured hardware.

    long time.I finally gave
    up and,bought the 0562cf.I am very pleased with it.

      it 2 x without compound,
      took a steel 2 x to it.Light touch up with fine diamond
      grit.20 cv holds an edge well.I think ZT recommends
      17% angle.Stay safe

    Saw there was a few older ZT models that has come back in stock now, but all in 20CV instead of whatever steel the ZT models had before. Really considering picking up one of these. Or a Sinkevich design. Are they still worth picking up at retail price?

      Nice let me know how you like it, also brand new the lock will be very strong, you can leave it partially opened when your not carrying it, basically compressing the spring while your not using it for a couple weeks and it will help break it in

  • @Cameron_OKG
    @Cameron_OKG 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I love my 0562 ti but am noticing a difference between that one and mine . The pivot on mine is T8 and not a standard flat head and also there is no way you can thumb flick mine unless you do thumb exercises I don't know about . Mines detent is seriously strong . Flipper works great but no to the thumb flick .

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This one has aftermarket hardware, and if this ones detent was any stronger i wouldnt be able to thumb flick it

    • @evanacey1414
      @evanacey1414 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ya those aren’t thumb studs.. They are really only meant to be used external blade stops. So don’t feel bad guy... Most people can’t thumb flick their 0562’s. Including me lol.

    Does ZT have a slicey thin blade knife?

  • @thomaslanders6244
    @thomaslanders6244 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I’m not a flipper fan and got rid of most of mine but probably should have kept the 0562. I did keep the 0801Ti that is really underrated. The blade stock and handles are thinner then the 0562 and flips just as good.

  • @brianhalbritter6306

    Recently got one, sadly it came with a really strong detent and bad bad lock stick. I took it apart cleaned/lubed it up and the detent was smooth after but the lock stick was just too awful (tried both sharpie and graphite methods and about 200 open/closings with no improvement). I ended up sending it back. Very disappointed with the QC from ZT kinda turned me off of their knives, sucks because they look great.

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow! To bad you didnt just exchange it for a better one, sometimes things just happen or parts expand And contract, but i dont think its typical atleast i havent heard of it being a common issue

    • @brianhalbritter6306
      @brianhalbritter6306 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I thought about that or sending it directly to ZT for warranty, but I feel like if you’re buying a $280 knife you shouldn’t have to do that? Maybe my standards are too high for that price range? I don’t know..gonna put the refund towards something I can trust, maybe an actual Hinderer or a large CRK. I have a small Sebenza 31 already (love it) and want something bigger.

    • @lenzielenski3276
      @lenzielenski3276 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have 4 0562's including a Ti and nary a problem with any of them. You really shouldn't get any lock stick because its a steel lock bar insert connecting to a steel blade tang. The sharpie/graphite won't work for that or at least not well. For that one surface should be softer than the other. Personally, I'd just have asked ZT for a new insert and once on the way I'd have removed the existing one and buffed it with stropping compound. That should remove any burr. Had that problem with a Twosun and a new insert solved the problem. Once I had the replacement I tried the buffing and now keep that as a spare.
      I wouldn't get upset over something like that. My Sebenza still has lock stick and its been open/closed several hundred times. Its better, but still not gone. Going by your rules, no one would ever buy one again.

  • @Mridgwell
    @Mridgwell 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Did you adjust the pivot, original pivot is free spinning was curious how it is with that kind of hardware and not being able to really lock in other side of that flat pivot?

    Whats your experience with bearing wearing off titanium?

    • @NeevesKnives
      @NeevesKnives  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Not to much ive seen bearings that have left dents in steel liners before, but i honestly havent seen many knives that had problems like that with titanium normally theres a steel washer in between the bearings and the titanium, this knife was not mine and it was in for sharpening so i never took it apart. I personally like to see steel washers in between but i havent seen to many issues personally

    Will I buy one? I have the 560 (from about 11 years bak). truly built lie a tank. No complaints at all. Which makes me wonder when the odd YTer complains about a 357 and does shoe "lock slip in his video...makes me wonder...was it staged? e.g. did he danage the knife for the video to get views and because he was banned from the KAI/ZT Instagram channel because of soemthing he said that was negative...shrug.
    I've seen most of the 357 YT reviews...all glowing reviews. NONE mentioned "lock slip". LIner-lock or not.
    I tested my 560 for the heck of it just using "finger pressure". NO WAY I'd move the blade invoking "lock slip". My finger woud break beofre the blade moved . :) I'm sure it's the same with the 562 Ti...not sure if I'm getting one just for the Ti show-side scale and the 20cv blade..heh...do want the 308....357? Shrug. 350? Shrug.

    BANG! I'm 1st !!! You dp a nice edge bro. I'm looking forward to using your edges whenever you send mine back. Even though I am capable of sharpening, it's nice to use others edges sometimes. I am not all that into sharpening. I DO like to strop though. I find it therapeutic. You would think that if I like stropping, I would also like to sharpen, but for whatever reason, I don't. Go figure. I guess I'm just weird, lol.
