Endless looping of "Ghetto Boy" alone back when it first dropped was enough for me to withstand some nights of serious anxiety. I am forever grateful for that project. "Nightride" might just be my favorite of hers.
My favorite Tee interview ever. She rarely ever feels like she’s being 100%. She’s usually kinda guarded, still kind and funny but she protects herself and gives just enough. But here she was definitely more open. It was nice to see. Zach has a great way of bringing that out of people.

So Nightride is considered a mixtape??? What are these labels doing. They had talent sitting in front of them but had no sense of direction. This is why independent Nashe was the standard that other artist feed off of like K-Pop.

I love Zach so much, he’s the only interviewer who actually knows about the industry and asks the real questions. But even more important, follows up in the guests answers. Most interviewers just ask the most shallow questions, who would you like to work with? How does it feel to be here? And then move on to the next question. This guy actually makes a conversation and asks questions relevant to this particular guest
Goddamn this was a good ass interview. I don't usually care for stuff like this, I tend to find it boring, but I got sucked in. Not only does she express herself SO well.. she's very introspective and I found myself nodding my head and agreeing with so much, but also the interviewer asked really good questions! You can always tell when an interviewer is barely listening and is just asking canned questions. This was most definitely not that. Very much enjoyed this! Tinashe doesn't get the radio plays that she should, but that's not how one should measure success. it's been wonderful seeing her evolve, heal, & grow. Love this interview.
At first I was kind of annoyed that the talk about None of My Business centered on Zach’s personal life (no hate- he came to work and powered through and gave a great interview), but it really shows how much insight Tinashe has as a writer. Like basically “I wrote something that coincidentally describes your life right now to a T. Love the new album. i've only been listening to Tinashe for about half a year now and really came to appreciate and like her music.
Didnt knew she had this hard and rough of a career.
She still seems really down to earth and not cocky. and no whe nshe says thats she thinks that she is underrated isnt cocky imy because its a fact. I hope she will continue having fun making music and release some
