She’s doing this interview because nasty is a hit record, it’s ONLY a hit record becuase of an Instagram/tick tock funny video that everyone wanted to mimicking. Otherwise like other aaaamazing songs of hers it would have gone nowhere. It’s a tad disingenuous for sway to give her such praise and for her to accept the praise with out acknowledging that fact.
The song is charting on Spotify and on billboard stop crediting other people for her achievements

You sound really dismissive and condescending. Nasty "is ONLY a hit record because of x and z" is a simplification.
Nasty is doing great because it's a fun, light-hearted song with great A liners and easy to dance to - that deserves its own merit too. Creating something that is catchy and can be referenced endlessly in social media is a great achievement that is NOT AS EASY as it might seem.
Tinashe has a lot of songs that are deeper and more complex, I would have loved if those caught the same sucess; in the meantime, we can and should celebrate Nasty for what it is - an unpretentious banger that makes people feel good and have fun!

Umm no she was asked about those collabs in an interview last year and yes they were weird R Kelly is nasty and Chris Brown beats and harasses women so what’s there to explain really?
@williamcontreras7495 She stated this last year, and I don't watch all her interviews, so there was no explanation on here. Chris Brown doesn't beat women and R. Kelly is in prison, so her opinion of them not on her song wasn't needed. They were paid, and it's the past.
