Amazing tank, very love your style, the simplicity, the chaos, the color changes, the flow and the fish, it's all in harmony, that's the true nature of "nature". I can get bored with complicated and fussy aquariums. But with this tank I can look at it every day, watch it change like the changing seasons.
Incredible setup, your information is so valuable that i can even apply it to a 20 gallon cube I'm planning on setting up! Would you change anything for low-tech setups that you plan on scaping?
Glad to know, buddy! For low tech setup, I would still choose those Rotala rotundifolia as the main stem plants, that's very easy-going plants and easy to be beautiful, too! :D Good lighting is still the key for the good growth. :)
Thanks buddy. In fact, I dosed very sparingly for this tank as we got rich nutrients base substrate there. So the key is to have a slow released fertilizers as base substrate in the aquascape. :)
You're most welcome. The fish will be more confident in numbers. You can see my other Shorts video. They are really friendly to me on daily feeding haha ... I even can pet them 😁
Thank you, buddy! 😍 I dose fertilizers very sparingly in this tank since the base substrate is nutrient-rich. Only the last month, after the last trimming, I needed to increase the dosage to encourage new buds to grow nicely in time for the photoshoot. In my opinion, the nutrient-rich base substrate, along with ample CO2 and lighting, are key factors for successful growth. ❤️
Thank you so much, buddy! 🥰 To create a lush background, I opted for fast-growing stem plants like the Rotala rotundifolia species. These stem plants can endure multiple trimming cycles before requiring replanting. With each trim, new buds form, resulting in thicker and denser bushes. 😃
@@LitiAquaria Thank you so much for such a wonderful brief breakdown! Spreading the love and joy of this hobby we all love most! Cheers mate, I hope you've had a wonderful week!
Not a single plant yet and I've already got so many questions. So, what does "reused soil" mean - is it literally different brands of aoil from other aquariums that you dried out and put in a bag?? I've never heard of that! Is it depleted, then - as in, no more nutrients etc.? And that's why you additionally use fertilized substrate layers? Also, where on Earth does one get absolutely stunning hardscape material like that 😭 I've not even finished the first three minutes yet but this already showed me some alternative ways to do things and gave me food for thought. In my bubble, there is a lot of uniformity in how people approach their setups. I don't like that. Stuff like yours refreshes creativity. Great job! (By the way, I also used biological filter media in my last setup because I was out of Volcano Mineral and didn't want to buy an entire 20L bag for one 30L aquarium :D)
Please allow me to mention on point of criticism. The tank is not suited for Pearl Gouramis. Just like every fish that build bubble nests, they need a lot of floating plants and almost nonexistent flow at the surface. You can see them hiding because of that. I do think we need to properly take care of all fish even in a high end aquascape. But everything else I love about this tank.
Thank you for your feedback, my friend. I reused the aquasoil that had been used before. Although it may have less nutrients compared to new soil, I've addressed this by adding slow-release fertilizers to replenish the nutrients in the lower layers (as you rightly pointed out). As for the Pearl Gouramis, they are quite intelligent fish. When I tried to take photos, they would often retreat into their cave and stay hidden. However, it's important to note that they have a comfortable environment with plenty of hiding places if they ever feel the need. 😊 I encourage you to watch the video until the end to catch a glimpse of these lovely fish. Have a wonderful day, my friend!
Just amazing. Really beautiful.
Thank you so much 😍😍
So much love in your work. The late Takashi Amano would be proud - you have expressed the classic triangle layout perfectly! 👍👍
Thanks a lot for your compliment, buddy. Yes, I am addicted in NA style and Takashi Amano is always my inspiration. ^_^

Very beautiful setup, nice layout, wonderful coloration and graduation of color.
Keep pushing, keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! Appreciate your compliements and encouragement, buddy! 🥰🥰🥰
Incredbly complex and sophisticated tank! I especially like how you ised long thin tape plants like Vallisneria nana.
Thanks a lot, buddy. Yes, I love to have the Vallisneria there, too. It creates the "flow" for the scape ya. ☺️🥰
Beautiful!!!!!!.
Thanks buddy! 🥰
cool video thanks for sharing your technique

Absolutely gorgeous. How's the pearl gourami on daily? Is it as shy as other gourami?
Thanks buddy. Pearl Gourami are totally so adorable on a daily basis. They are very smart fish. Only hide when they feel something is suspicious. 😆😅
Oh good to hear, I've been wanting pearl gourami for quite a while now but I was worried that they are too shy. Thank you for answering my question 😊
You're most welcome. The fish will be more confident in numbers. You can see my other Shorts video. They are really friendly to me on daily feeding haha ... I even can pet them 😁
beautifull!! Congrats on this great aquairum. Can you tell me what was your fertilize dosing regime?

Thank you, buddy. This tank thickness is 15mm.

Mình mix các loại vảy ốc màu khác nhau vào đó bạn ơi :D
Great job my friend. Dont fucking care about the ranking number. Hope to see you again at the next session
Thank you, my brother! Yes, see you in the next season! We love Aquascaping, ranking is just a bonus into that. 😆💪

What brand of lights?
That's Chihiros RGB Vivid 2 😊
Bạn oi cho mình hỏi sặc này mua ở đâu vậy bạn
Mình mua ở một cửa hàng cá bên Singapore. Ở Việt Nam chắc cũng sẵn đó bạn. 😊
Hi, what is the tank size ?
It's 150x60x60cm, buddy! 😊
Was there a CO2 system used in this build?
Yes, buddy. CO2 injection is needed for this high energy setup. 💪
Nhìn ngoài chắc đẹp hơn em nhỉ.
Em cảm ơn anh Tri đã xem. Nhìn ngoài phê lắm anh. Cây lên rất tốt (chắc tốt quá 😆) anh ạ. 🥰
