Love these type of vids. Seeing what can be done and the cost. As I plan my escape from the west..........Wishing the best for your success. Can't wait to get back.
Opened a few bars here in Canada.. your price computes to $78,200 cdn …sighhhhhh lol I get it though, (it’s Thailand)big money potential with a myriad of headaches unknown to the uninitiated For those considering this man knows his business.I’m sure those peeps would happily pay consulting (which I definitely recommend!) fee to you for that service. Very informative & interesting vid! Cheers
Great, very comprehensive plan 👏 All I can say is I wish you the very best of luck. But I'm sure this will be a great success. Looking forward to popping in & supporting this project 😀 next time I'm in town. Thanks for sharing, great viewing 👍
Big money Dean. I really enjoyed the other bar build you did for your friend on Soi Epic but this is obviously a totally different ball game. I've just come back from Patts in the last week. I did pop into The Dive to say hello but it was your night off. Next time hopefully.
Hi Dan, sorry i missed you, starting next week me and my brother will have fixed nights each week, mine will be Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and one other each week.
@@markrumney963 Hi Mark, I saw that message, then it vanished. I have had an engineer do drawings showing what he wants to be done, and I am currently waiting for a new builder to start.
I thought coloured resin for the mezzanine floor would look cool, like a resin River table, you literally can pour it on top of the steels, which would be about 3 inches thick, then the light from upstairs shines through making lovely patterns below, and the light below helps luminate above and I bet no one else has done that, hope the new builder is better all the best Mark
Can you keep us updated on the numbers? and also would you be able to make a video on the numbers from your other bar as well. Just saw you channel and subed immediately haha I watch basically many of the pattaya bar channels and NONE of them so far EVER showed any types of number at all. Thanks!
looks fun and interesting doing a bar from scratch like that mate but obviously be few headaches along the way lol. im over on 16th April its been awhile but il pop in the Dive bar for a beer
Really interesting stuff. Just shy of £48k - I don't consider that to be "big" money.... bargain! But seriously, I can't wish you enough luck. Although luck is only a tiny part - it's about keeping your shit together and providing a good, affordable service. You seem a very together kind of chap...I believe you can do this, for sure. Sorry for the dumb question - what type of bar is it going to be? Go-go, GC....? 👍🙂❤
Thanks for 2nd instalment....took out the wrong wall to start with? This is Thailand..555... anyway all good in the scheme of things, your experience in budget , back neighbours jiggery pokery etc shows thru here...Dean thanks for your no bullshite building a bar style....cheers
Hi, I will look into that, posibly on some inside walls. Metal checkerplate is not too expensive, I will look at cladding the front with that, then have a nice padded inserton the door, with steel around it
Good luck 👍. You have good videos, thank u.

Good luck with this project. The extra costs are a pain, but sure it will be worth it in the long term.

Hi Bruce, i know what you mean, when i did bar renovations in Australia, that amount of money would not have gone far at all!
Looking great Dean unreal look forward to having a drink when I get back in from Syd 👌Phil
Wow. Big project indeed. Looks very interesting. Thanks for the tour, and best of luck moving forward. Cheers
Thanks Wally, by the next episode i hope my 2 big worries, the underground plumbing and the mezzanine balcony are done.
Great, very comprehensive plan 👏

Right on Dean looks great mate.
How's the build coming along, what did you use on the floor upstairs
Hi Mark, they used thick cement board. But we have had a problem!! The next episode will be out on Monday explaining it!
Hi Dean I sent you a message on messenger, with ideas for the floor, looking forward to the next video

I like the part where they just put cement at the back so the running water will be their probelm, its thai building at its finest.
It's cheap project in thai bahts and good luck man.🙏
Thank you George
I love these kind of videos when you make something nice out of nothing looks good hope to see you guys in October thanks J
Thanks Sibua, I hope by October Pattaya is in full swing again.

Thanks Steve, it will be interesting once the back is filled to see what happens when it rains!
The wall shaking
money saver idea for you, you have plastic decals on the dive bar, why not get a pic of a huge vault door and just cover the door instead of painting

Oh that does not look good
