    If im being honest, hearing you talk about starting the wright loss injections... It makes me feel sad. I realise its your choice, your body, totally. Relating to you as a mid sized woman, in this time, when being skinny is the in thing.. it feels like another person ive admired is conforming to society standards and in a way the message i get is that looking the way i do is not enough anymore. I dont blame you for that, Sasha. I understand what you said about your relationship with food and how this will hopefully help you. But the truth is, you will most likely be losing weight. Maybe im just feeling envious, not sure. Honestly, wish i had no negative reaction, and could just be supportive to you, as a woman and as someone i truly do admire. I feel confused about the whole ozempic trend happening.

      If you are truly happy with your own body and self, other peoples changing bodies don’t affect you. You only have control over your body no one else’s ❤.

      If someone else’s decision about their own body makes you feel sad , your energy is being placed wrongly. No human especially not a stranger on the internet should impact you and evoke sadness at their personal decision. You should in fact be happy for Sasha, after watching these vlogs especially over the last 6 months knowing how low Sasha has been. Weightloss happens when you don’t eat the way you do as your before picture , but that doesn’t mean she will be a skinny Minnie, I guess I wonder is it the admission of taking mounjaro that’s made you sad and if so maybe read how the drug works because it’s about so much more than losing weight , sending much love ❤️

      @@beyondthedressingtable I definitely have my own body issues that I am dealing with, and this is probably the reason why I had a negative reaction to Sasha's personal decision. Also, you're right, I'm not even informed on how the drug works, so going to educate myself on that now.

      Thank you for saying this. I totally understand and you say it in the most respectfull way. Please don’t let people make you feel bad about this comment or that it is based on insecurity. I’m sure Sasha will understand. Self love is a journey.

      Try re-framing it as 'she's taking steps to get healthier' and see it as a positive thing. Being overweight isn't healthy in the long term, so you should be happy that Sasha's taking steps to be a healthier version of herself. It's a shame that you're overly focussed on the aesthetic side of things - being bigger isn't healthy, so you shouldn't look to other bigger people to make yourself feel better (misery loves company, isn't that what the BPM is all about?) - I would highly recommend you look into counselling or ED therapy for yourself xx

    Sasha , I am so proud that you have made this choice ! You will be ASTOUNDED at the shut down of noise , it’s immediate and it’s so freeing. I have done all the work all of it and MJ was the dot of the I and cross of the t and it’s allowed me to be exactly where I need to be, and that’s finally in control. No cravings, no noise , no rabid binges nothing and I’m happy for the first time in years xxx

    Hey Sasha! Just popped by to say how much I loved this vid, as ever your honesty and openness shone through and that’s why we loves ya!
    I started taking Mounjaro 10 weeks ago as a way to quieten the noise in my head that I’ve had for my entire life. I have always struggled with my weight and whilst there have been times where I’ve managed to lose through diet and exercise, it always crept back on far quicker than it came off!
    I have found Mounjaro to be life changing. A bold statement, I know but to wake up every day and not be ruled by ‘what am I going to eat today’… I could cry with how happy that little thing has made me! Yes, it’s expensive and yes, it might all come back when I choose to stop but to have had 10 weeks of quiet… I’ll take that! I wish you all the love in the world and for those that think weight loss medication is an ‘easy way out’, it couldn’t be further from the truth.
    One thing I will say, try to avoid the MJ community on the other app… I’ve found it exhausting!
    Much love Queen and… good luck! We’re all here for the ride with ya 💙

      thank you so much Sally, the amount of statements that I've heard saying the same. Agreed about the other app, it's the side of the treatment that I find to be quite toxic. I'm also speaking to lot's of people who have come off it and have said nothing but how much it has permanently changed their view on things. I feel so sure that I'm making the correct decision for me right now, thank you as always for your support

    I think the important thing is to work with someone on your relationship with food as the injections only work as long as you are using them and coming off can be difficult. In addition, calories consumed when on Ozempic are very low and it is important to look after your nutrition as well to avoid losing muscle. Esgfitness has covered this in detail in her podcasts so well worth a listen

    Hey Sasha!
    It’s so refreshing to hear you talk about MJ and weight loss in such a honest and transparent way.
    I have been following you for quite some time now and I have always felt so understood. Thank you for that.❤
    I made the decision to start taking MJ 3 months ago, and it has made a huge difference in my body and my relationship with food. The part where you said “quiet down the noise” really resonated with me. It’s like I am able to pick up on body’s needs and insight much better now. Changed my perspective I guess…
    It’s people like you that inspire me and I finally went ahead and started sharing my journey online. Scared but excited 😂
    I wish you all the best in this new process. Cheering for you always! ❤🫶🏼

    Sky high protein heavily curbs food noise! It’s been a life changing revelation for me this year. Protein first, carbs and fats as secondary food sources within a meal- the need to snack completely fades away. Wishing you the best on this next chapter though! 💕

    • @hannahb6471
      @hannahb6471 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agreed - I lost weight and kept it off by putting protein on my plate first then a measured amount of carbs (rice, pasta, potatoes etc), lots of veggies and some fats from seeds, nuts, sauces etc.
      She talks about silencing the food noise and I get it totally but her videos regularly show high carb and sugar foods so I'm not surprised she has a lot of food noise and has binges.
      My concern with weight loss medication is that it might quieten the food noise but if her diet is still heavily carbs and sugar (but smaller amounts) then she may end up losing a lot of muscle in the process and just feel worse in general.
      I find if I start my day with something sugary and/or high carb (unless it's oats) then every single hour I find myself putting something sweet in my mouth. Now I don't do a thing until I've had my oats as that helps satiate me without the need to have sugar constantly throughout the day and I can easily wait until the evening to have something sweet.

    • @rockout479
      @rockout479 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@hannahb6471 I’m with you! Second time losing 75+lbs for me (once before kids, and now after) but prioritizing 120g of protein daily has been an absolute must for me this go around. It’s shocking what a difference that makes on our bodies and has even helped with my menstrual cycle.
      But yeah, once you notice what different foods do to your own body, it’s hard not to take note on how others choose to eat. We all only learn from experience and while there’s certainly great benefit in having the help of the injections, I’d also fear coming off of them one day with no real mindset change. To each their own though!

  • @85jennyhouston
    @85jennyhouston หลายเดือนก่อน

    You know your own body better than anyone Sasha, but for what it's worth I think you are absolutely stunning just the way you are!! ❤ I'm a UK Size 12 and the voice inside my head can be really loud too...I think it's much more common than people realise. I hope you are sourcing the injections safely and make sure you stop if they don't agree with you. I know some people who had to give up after extreme nausea made the experience unbearable. Self image can be a bitch, but I hope you are being kind to yourself! I love your honesty and your channel is such an uplifting and positive space. Sending you lots of love ❤

      I think I'm really unsure on that, I definitely don't want to "promote" weightloss, especially knowing that ED are already at such an all time high and having suffered from it in the past I'd almost rather it wasn't a focus. I will definitely share more of the positive diet changes though, for me that's the most important thing for me to combat and hopefully it will help others too

    I think the thing for me is that Sashas whole career started with the whole positve be yourself movement #nofilter and this to me feels like she is doing this because (she even said herself) she feels like she doesnt fit in,in the career shes in ie,the people who she works with or goes to events with.I rhink maybe thats why she got to work with lots of different brands was because of the whole be yourself thing and people looked up to that and watched for that reason.And to start off this video eating fast food i just dont get it.But each to their own of course no one can tell anyone what to do or be in their life.I felt similar when one of the Ladies from the Curvy Bride Tv programme had a gastric band,every week she would tell overweight brides to be positive and they looked beautiful,being big ect ect that was their business,i just felt it slightly hypocritical.

This is the problem with our society . Mukbangs fast food and easy way out ! I recommend get yourself a good PT who will help you with understanding calories and push you to the limit in the gym . I’m done . But wish you well.

I keep almost signing up for injections of various weight loss type. My husband uses Ozempic and finds it super useful. I am currently going a different route, most mornings I do what Ive named Expression Sessions alone - punch pillows, scream into pillow, cry, etc, LOL. Letting out some pent up emotions so I don't suppress my emotions with food - which is what I need ATM.
    Also, I love how you are such a foodie, like trying different foods/drinks actually brings you joy, it's great to see.
