Hi, brand new to airless paint spraying, bought a cheap spayer! When using i lose all pressure, press trigger get nothing, does initially work for about a minute. hand tightening the tip and tip guide onto the gun, i get paint coming out between tip and gun thread. If i lightly tighten with spanner i get no pressure. If i get it to a position where it will spray, it lasts for about a minute, loses all pressure in the trigger and won't spray. The tip guard becomes so tight the tip won't turn to to unblock. I replaced the tip guide and Tip from original that came with the gun to the Graco FFLP 310, but still have same issue. I am thinking of buying a new gun. Could this be the issue? Appreciate any help#, thanks
I have a strange problem here. Purchased one used and when using it i would work fine for say 10 min then I'll get a streak (10 seconds) of inconsistent pattern then it just stop sending out paint... If I reverse the metal thing that is on the tip (sorry don't know the name), press the trigger the paint will spray out, I would then turn back the metal til in correct position and this will allow consistent paint pattern until I have to redo again. Reversing the tip is just an easy way... I could remove the tip and place it back inside. It's almost like something blocked it but this shouldn't be since the strainer is there to prevent that. I did thin the paint just a little. I'm using Graco x5.
@@portagepete1 thanks my project is done but i have also came across of another video where a guy took apart the gun (part with the trigger) stating the components could have ole paint built up and just needs to be cleaned out. Will do that on my next job (probably next summer) and repost.
My KRAUSE & BECKER (harbor freight) pump starts to slow with as does the pressure and output when doing a large wall. Give it a few minute rest then its ok for a little bit then repeats... is it overheating from paint too thick?
My guess, you said the wall is large, probably your sprayer is not big enough. To do big project you need big machine. With small sprayer use smaller tips like 313, not bigger than 415. But it will take longer time to finish the job. I have Graco 490 for good size jobs and two X5s for small indoor job.
My airless PT2500 works great but the only thing I am noticing is that that motor never shuts down even when primed. I’m afraid I’m going to blow up the motor. I can’t figure out what I should do?
When you prime it never stops. That’s normal because prime is not building pressure. After all the air bubbles out, turn the switch spray position and wait until pressure builds and then it will stop.
Good info! I have a 395 seems to build pressure fine. What I did notice was sometimes towards the end of the pressure build, lets say the pump is set to medium and I just placed the gun down...so not spraying for a minute, the pump moves up and down, slows to reach its pressure, but notice the motor rotates backwards a little. Is that normal?
Is not normal, means you have a pressure leak somewhere in the system. Very common place is the inlet ball on the lower part of the pump inside the cup. Clean it very well and inspect the ball seat which looks like a washer, it should be perfect with no pitting or damage, you can flip it so you use the best side.
just had a problem with my 395 … paint started to spray out of joint where lower ball and seat is located … took it apart put it back together … same thing … lower packing worn ??? let me know ..cheers … enjoy the videos
How do you know your rod is worn out by looking at it I've got a speeflo 6900 I'm going to take it all apart and check it out. The rod looks smooth no scarring.
My sprayer seems to have a problem with it getting electrical power to the motor. It's like there's a shortage the fan at the back begins to spin then it stops and can't get power back to it
My sprayer leaves trails at the outer margins of the spray pattern. This excess of paint makes me have to back roll the walls. Any ideas why this is happening?
Your not using enough pressure or the sprayer doesnt have a high enough pressure for the paint your using you can increase the pressure in the unit try thinning material a bit or if using fine finish tips go with standard airless tips
Surely if you learned the language he is speaking you would understand . What dumb comment, he's in a America where English is 1st language, I don't think he was worried about other counties understanding him 🤦♂️

What if the sprayer was clogged so we took the intake hose off at the throat seal, now liquid is spraying out of the throat seal
This video was SO MUCH OF A HELP! Thank You!!

You strainer can get little holes in it from not being cleaned enough.

@@chonghwang8028 Thanks. You're probably right. It was a big job. 2000 sq/ft basement.
Thank you so much, this video really helped me figure out my problem when no one else could.
Trying to get my pump apart but it’s stuck in the up position so I can’t get the pin out to remove the pump from the machine. Anybody have any ideas?
Turn the motor switch on momentarily so that piston position changed to your desired position.

Ive got a 395 as well … asked a question... did this guy ever get back to you on yours??
Normal

For my spraytech the 2 packings or black plastic o rings on the bottom of the piston keep coming off the piston that means they're worn off correct?

Yes packings are worn typically
my sprayer just keeps on pumping after it gets to pressure until it gets too much pressure and trys oozing paint out through the packing
Probably an issue with the transducer or control board

it could be your brushes are worned out too.
Check the transducer
Good video.
I have rongpeng R470 airless Paint sprayer start sprayer prime to spray and prime pipe leakage what is problem sir
My 3400 pressures up without priming, any ideas?
My 3400 pressure is stuck on high. Do you have any idea what it could be?

my 695 leak from the top where where the metal ball ba that will be the problem
If its leaking at the top it needs repacked typically
i have graco 390 after 10 minutes pressure drops and does-not build up again ,any idea?
This could be a malfunctioning transducer the probe that monitors pump pressure
Ey men espiquispanis por favor saludos desde México
i did all that but no pint come out wy paquing all new
