@@Kimtanashino Squigs, Starborne Seraphon, SCE Dragons, Morathi+Bow Snakes+Incarnate, and then Nighthaunt. I ran MK, 2x Warchanters and 3x6 Pigs. Only lost to Nighthaunt, that matchup is ROUGH - we can't do nearly enough damage, though I could have won if I had played the objective game better, so it's not unwinnable!
@@Kimtanashino if you're thinking of running competitive IJZ, the only build is pigs IMO. IJZ is D tier overall, but one drop pig spam is busted

Nighthaunt: army-wide 8" movement with flying and withdraw & charge base, before you start looking at mounted units or teleport shenanigans, is slow? I'm not necessarily disagreeing, I don't have the competitive experience to back up any claim to the contrary, but if Nighthaunt are a slow army in modern AoS then movement in general is totally degenerate & needs a system-wide reset badly.
Is there some reason why Stormcast isn’t in the tiers?

Question for ya, you mentioned Bonesplitterz as being an army that really likes Krondspine, what makes you like it there in particular?
I think gives the army some durability off the waagh turn and the +1 to cast on a shaman who pregame moves to get in range of purple sun etc. is ace! Also AOE all out attack on big stabbas is tasty!
That feeling when you realize that everything below C tier is Destruction...
Though putting Ironjaws below C feels off. Even if it is a pretty one-note army.
Maybe this might be a little late, I've just bought a fair bit of Skaven. How're they to play? I feel nervous that they're lower tier than this given every written review saying they're not good! 😔

Interesting to hear your thoughts on BoC which are mirroring mine quite well! When you say Tzaangors are the true winners in the book, are you including all things tzaangors like enlightened on foot or disc? Or do you really mean JUST the Tzaangor warscroll?

Enlightened are insane imo, and while the foot varient seems really good for the price damage wise, I think theyre too slow to include. They wont keep up with normal tzaangors or your other battleline, because they can all run and charge, so I think discs are the way to go despite being very expensive for 2 main reasons.
1.) They are an amazing bounty hunter unit with 3 weapon profiles, meaning 3 additional damage per model w bounty hunter.
2.) Their visions of the future rule is absolutely insane, and makes them like easily the greatest damage dealers in the book, I did the math, they will out damage anything else. You have to be careful with this one, obviously they can easily be killed before they get to fight with the rerolls, so you cant just go into anything. Fighting on the flanks after your tzaangors charged, and based the majority of the enemy unit can be a great way to avoid damage, or charging enemy backline units like archers, where they can fight second without expecting too much damage in return.
On foot, they're more efficient for the price, so being summoned in when you know they dont have a gunline to target them easily, or you dont need the mobility can be good, but overall the 16" (19" near a shaman) move alone is worth the extra 100pts, let alone the extra damage as well. That being said, normal tzaangors are also insane, and just running max battleline tzaangors is valid. Personally I think either a squad or 2 of 20, or a squad of 30 in gavespawn will be the way to go, then throw in enlightened as an after thought. Summoning is also a great option if you have the shaman, and usually a great go-to if you need damage from your summon. Other options for me are cockatrice for rampage and ranged threat, or ungors for board control.
When people tell me that NH isn’t doing that much damage… right after they’ve smashed my 3+ stormcast to bits 😣
I just chose Nurgle as my first Army ever, I love that they are a bit in the top half but not in the god tier, than it will be quite challenging but also quite competitive. Do you have any content about different Nurgle builds and strategies? (Still exploring the game and its possibilities) for example, are there any warscrolls outside the nurgle faction as allies I should consider looking at? And which endless spells have synergie with the nurgle army?
I know it's late but here is from a nurgle player. Drowned men with pussgoyle blightlords is the dominant strategy currently. Blightkings are still very good though. You can go either way with this army. For allied chaos, belakor is the best way to go currently.
If we remove thanqoul and the stormfiends from the skaven book, what opinion would you have about the rest of the units?
Genuinely curious how BoC does well against NH? One of their main threats, Rend, has no effect on NH. Is it due to their summoning?
I thought OBR had dropped in win rate below 30? Latest stats I saw were they were ~28. Do you really think the new edition will jump them up two tiers?
Yeah the white dwarf changes + stalkers being battleline is a huge difference. Someone went 5-0 with them recently, I think they're much improved.

I can’t see them either
Hard disagree on some of these:
- KO more B, they got a glow up but not that big of one (and are not in the same league as Cities by a country mile)
- Same for Iron Jaws, they may be simple in builds but they are very good
- Beastmen didn't get that good of an upgrade and Khorne has very limited builds at the moment (they should be B with Iron Jaws)
- Bonesplitterz more C tier, definitely not in the same league as DoK or SBG
As for the rest, I agree (a few I am indifferent on):
- RIP Kruleboyz =(
- Lets see where Lumineth and Tzeentch land, much less the imminent Umbraneth
- Fyreslayers got a bigger upgrade than I initially thought they did with their book (my initial impressions were off)
- Happy for Skaven and Nighthaunt players
- Agree on SCE assessment at A tier
Haven't played enough of new Sylvaneth or points dropped Hedonites to comment (my gut tells me the former are well placed and the latter is still C tier at best)
For reference, I play SCE. (Actual SCE, not the Cities of Sigmar version of SCE)

Im not discounting what you've said about lack of diversity. but touched by the waagh makes them reliable wizards and their damage is obviously insane.

I really enjoy you're content man, but you're win rates are way off. Nurgle drowned men is still second in Win rates and still winning tournaments. Also the big waaagh is also in the top for win rates.

The nonsense I fell still exists in Seraphon is the fact that half of the book has the SKINK Keyword. would they remove that from the monsters it would be still viable but a lot more enjoyable to pay against. I sort of ok with slanns and Kroak being what they are.

I gotta assume he's talking about The Honest Wargamer stats? But I don't see a problem with your list being different to those stats. They only include about 13 total tournaments, and a lot less than that for some factions. I assumed your list was more of a prediction ... where will we see these factions in a few months, when we have a lot more stats.
