This song dropped in the middle of a crippling heat--wave in Korea. Add it came 10 years after Korea suffered a near catastrophic economic collapse in 2008.
The song's message of "we worked hard, now let's enjoy our prosperity" reall resonated.

Underrated album in their discography imo. I love this album!
To be fair RV isn't really a rap heavy group so it is hard to find songs where both Irene and Yeri go off. It does happen on occasion. And also both Yeri and Irene have said they want to sing more than rap. If you get to I do suggest their Japanese b sides as there are some good raps there!
When Seulgi comes rapping out the gate in Mosquito, she looks so cool! You have to see this performance LIVE. The Red Velvet body roll is DANGEROUS! Everyone in the front row should have to sign a waiver. Blue Lemonade is such a great summer song, and the choreo is so cute. Great reaction! 🩷💛💙💚💜

I love this album! Hit That Drum is such a BANGER! It's my favorite b-side on this album! Blue Lemonade is a close second, though!
My understanding is that Bad Boy came to them in English from a Western producer and they changed it to Korean, so this (in my opinion) is one of the better English translations in kpop and why it flows so well.

Imo, this is one of their weakest albums. I still got Power Up, Mosquito and Blue Lemonade out of it so I'm happy with that.
