Enjoyed the video, and it's always good to hear Kevin's thoughts. The guy knows his stuff! I'm a bit of a fan of the Zaharoff Rose, and have worn it a fair bit over the last couple of months (mostly dressed up for occasions, but casually as well). I'm unsurprised that Kevin couldn't immediately pick it, despite the fact that I know how excellent his nose is. A thing I've noticed about the Zaharoff is that the character of it is quite variable depending on the conditions (body temp, environmental, etc). Given that it has three different types of rose absolute (two in the top and one in the mid, as well as jasmine and peony), and some other naturals in there which will be shaping the florals as well, this isn't surprising. While fragrances are all variable, that one seems markedly so and the florals can come across all the way from jammy to green and vegetal in my (limited) experience. It's good stuff, but I haven't quite figured out how to predict it yet. Haven't tried the others (though am considering Roeya from Spirit of Dubai... thought it wasn't for me, but it's lodged in my head, so has to get another wear). Good to see you looking properly recovered from the tiredness stretch Marcelo!

My Xerjoff collection has expanded to include Fars, Alexandria II, Ivory Route, Accento, Tony Iommi, Torino21 and Torino22. And then there's Casamorati 1888, Mefisto and Mefisto Gentiluomo. I need therapy but couldn't help myself. I picked up most of them for half price but that still doesn't excuse a glutton of compulsive purchases. You did influence me somewhat on a number of them and hence why my collection needs to be complete for now. That still doesn't stop me eying up Alexandria III, Starlight, Amber Star and Golden Dallah. Amber Star in particular perks my interest. Have you smelt it? I've watched your reviews of Starlight and Golden Dallah. Have you compared Alexandria II and III?

I have 1 perfume inspired in Majalis, its name is Tapis Volant from JA Essence De La Vie (Its a house from Brasil!!) It is a good one, I dont know the majalis itself, but the inspired one is beautifull!!

Yes, we are clowns😂 It's funny, I literally rolled camera's and we just started....what you see is the start, we just started riffing from the get go (at the time I was having an out of body moment observing this and was impressed at the instant energy⚡️) We even in mid flight changed the direction of what we were doing....'fragrance for a situation' rather than just a fragrance that would make you turn your head.....it was exhilarating just going with the flow!! Of these 3, I would instantly recommend to you Zaharoff Rose....I would be interested in your thoughts on this one. Great to hear from you Fred👊🏽

Yes the spirit of Dubai are not cheap. This is a top niche brand from the Middle East. They do use very high-quality oils. Their fragrances are very unique, very long-lasting…and very pricey💰 If you like those oriental notes and Arabic influence have you checked out the house of Kajal? I will let you know once I sample some of the Kajal line. But as luck would have it Spirit of Dubai had a deal on their samples for the new year so I got them in and working through them now. They are better than advertised! The big standouts have been Bahar, Majalis, and Turath.

The reality is that my taste is always changing and I've found that what I might not like now; at a future date I do like. In doing some reviews I have shared on fragrances' (that I now enjoy) that early on I didn't like (Megamare is a classic in this space)....I prefer to share in this way.
