The gameplay of Content Warning bears similarities to Lethal Company and Phasmophobia. Four players begin on an idyllic island and use a diving bell to descend into what is known as the "Old World", a zone shrouded in perpetual darkness that contains an abandoned town. The players' objective is to use a video camera to film "scary content", such as artifacts or dangerous monsters, while exploring the ruins. Players' oxygen supply and the camera's film are both limited, and at least one of the players must survive the excursion and return to the surface with the camera so that the film can be uploaded to "SpöökTube". Videos are scored with viewers, and the number of viewers also determines how much money is earned. If the players meet the viewer quota within three days, they are given a new quota and can continue their career as content creators; if not, they lose the run and their progress is reset. Money can be spent on tools to make exploring the Old World easier and safer in order to produce more valuable footage.

@@wurp.always The angler is an unused enemy that is only spawnable through someone using a mod, being a remnant of an unused game feature.
I think u forgot one, idk if its like super rare but one time i was camping at that base cuz i was like super scared, and a giant deformed baby spawned and tried to get in. Or maybe i was just triping and it was one of those monsters, but i could swear it was like a giant baby cuz my friend saw it too
Fun Fact: If you hold the reporter mic up to a snail, it will stop and look at it, as if talking into the mic.
Did that once and it looked like the snail was just stuck on the mic for like 2 minutes 😂
For some reason it did the same when i was holding the hug tablet out at him

On my first playthrough i was playing alone about to go back up when WEEPING suddenly cought me, timer went down and when i thought all is lost JELLO appered then jumped inside the WEEPING and pulled me out then dragged me close to the bell, i am thankeful for those little buggers

You forgot something about Big Slap
When he spawns, a painting of his face also spawns, anyone who looks at it will summon him nearby you, even if it's on accident.

Things you didnt know/didnt mention:
-The "saliva" of Slurper is actually just their tongue with a seethrough texture
-Whisk will run away after ~3 failed charges
-Snatcho makes "slapping" noises as they walk, a good indication to anyone alone
-When snatcho grabs you, you are forced to drop anything in your hand, even if only switching to the item.
-Turret takes a couple seconds to lock on, which is reset every time you are in their sight
-The presence of Slap on a map causes "extra" spooky ambience, e.g. hearbeats, breathing, ect. This may also apply to flicker.
2 things, jello thing is wrong, and also if you shine a light at a bird for too long its eyes turn red and it gets madder (bird is called “eye guy” in this video)

I also think the flicker causes extra ambience (other then the flickering lights), I played a game last night that he was present in (we never saw him tho) and the ambience was almost suffocating. I don’t think it was from a slap because I’ve only experienced that kind of ambience once.
And also big enemies like big slap and barnacle ball revamp the spotting a monster sound and makes it more aggressive

A Jello ran me directly into lasers one time, me and my friends were teasing it because it got stuck in a door, the second it was free it lunged at me

He did this to me with the moving wheels that damage you as he isn’t knocked back at all by it
it dragged me directly into the lasers and i just instantly died
The Big Slap CAN be shock sticked but even when ragdolled he can kill you it's kind of insane.
In a solo run I found out by chance that if a weeping captures you and a jello is nearby the jello can actually grab you out of the weeping and save you.
Note: barnacle ball can be shocked, I encountered him and spam clicked the zapper as self defense
Another thing about the knife guy, you CANNOT use height advantage, i learnt it the hard way that it doesnt lunge horizontally but instead a straight LOS to the target so it will literally fly at you if you are on top of something and its targeting you

One of my favorite parts about Content Warning is the fact that it just throws you into this senario with barely any context. You have to make fun, happy content while risking your life against unspeakable horrors hiding in an abandoned world.
Man, I love this game.
Slight correction, Slurper, Barnacle or Ceiling Star will let whoever they are slurping go no matter where you hit the creature, the tongue or the furthest part of the limbs. Sometimes even what looks like a miss makes it let you go
You can actually stun the slapper, just turn on the shock stick and charge throw it at it. This will likely sacrifice the shock stick, but can definitely save your life, same with the barnacle ball.
I've never heard of the actual names of the monster and I've been referring to them as my groups own made up names for them

I’ve never played CW because I don’t have a pc, but I agree with “THE FUCK IS THAT THING!”. That can apply to every monster tho
The first time I saw a snail I said "oh look it's Gary" and now me and my friends all call them gary
something to note is that even tho you are solo you can actually still get rid of snatcho after he has stached you, as tho he does make you drop your items you are actually able to pick them up again and use them, however it important to remember that before equiping your light source to drop it, you need to make sure you are facing the direction he is pulling you in, otherwise you wont be able to reach it to pick it back up again.

One thing about the Flicker monster, when I got him in my game with 2 friends, one of our friends kept saying she was seeing a Slenderman guy everywhere and me and the other friend would look where she said she could see him but nothing was there until it materialized with the red eyes. IDK how true this is, but I think maybe it chooses someone to be a target who sees it everywhere before it fully materializes? Or, she was just getting lucky to miss the eyes when he spawned? I had the camera so IDK.
Happened to me, was playing with two friends, I saw flickering lights (had no idea that was the first signal of the flicker), we kept going the way we were headed, I heard the sound but didn't see him, then the next time I saw him right in front of me, the screen was red and he was there for a second, I freaked out and none of my friends saw him. Next time we see him, it's at that room with the huge gaping hole in the top (that allows you to go in through the surface), I was behind them but I just saw a huge red light and when I look to the side, I see two dead bodies there and I just ran for the bell. I was quite of an idiot and didn't try to get the camera, nor did we try to rescue it next time, which is a shame, because that was perfect lost media footage.
I do have to say, I think it attacks one at a time, it was like three warnings, first the flickering lights, then him appearing for one, then for me until he finally materialised and deleted my friends.
yeah i saw it first and screamed "THERES A MAN HERE HELP" and then he appeared and killed me and my friends :P
My friend had the camera and kept seeing flicker, caught him materializing on camera at one point and filmed himself being killed (I saw him die too, it was terrifying omg)
Mouth is this game’s spore lizard. Does something harmless when close, deals low damage when threatened

i remember trying the game out with a friend and day 1 first thing we all see a flicker and die, never saw it again.
I just started my play of this game with friends last night, just a lil fact about the Larvae as well. If you are being targeted by said creature and have the Goo Ball, you can start the countdown on the gadget and if you so happen to be grabbed by the Larvae the explosion of the Goo Ball scares off the creature. Only attempted this once so good luck

With Slurper also someone else can just Hug you while you try to break out, and then you survive.
This video doesn't mention Knifeo's strength: sometimes, (and I don't exactly know why), it's face will become permanently wicked and it will start dealing closer to 90-100 damage.
I have no idea what triggers this, but the ONLY time I saw it they were in a group and we used the shock stick on them a bunch
about 3:45, the slurper, it is actually easy to ungrapple someone if you toss anything at it, as long as it hits the hitbox of the slurper, be it base or sides
FUN FACT: Snatcho can actually be countered by dropping all your items once you are grabbed. This will cause him to drop you immediately after you drop it. If you have no items, he won't go for you at all.

This video was incredibly helpful! All of the monsters in this game are so unique, and I’m glad to see someone make an actually good guide to them :D
Also, with the robot dog, Ive found that you can just walk into it pre-shooting and the bullets wont hit you, just make sure to semi try to walk in a circle while hugging the robot dog untill it loses agro and walks away

When I played content warning yesterday, me and my friend came across 2 items one called Animal and the other was animal but misspelled I think it was called aminal he touched the aminal object and he started hover and fly around uncontrollabley and his voice was distorted, the only way to get him down was to have him touch the animal object by throwing it at him other objects didn’t work.
It could have been a mod but because we had some installed but I was the who installed the mods and I don’t know what it could possibly be from.
the items are base game pretty sure ones anti gravity and the other is the opposite

Dang, I literally just commented about something similar, but my friend died from flying around and we couldnt figure out why he couldnt get down.
For the slurper I thought it was a weird hand that it grabs you with. Like translucent rope attached to a strange mechanical hand.

You forgot Angler, which is a super rare monster to encountered. Also whisk has different variations in the files too.

one thing i figured out during a match is you can bully the whisk into a corner with two people, if you do it right it wont charge and will just become free content.
Just crouch against the Whisk. It's hitbox is it's head. It basically can't hit you if you're low enough -- most of the deaths I've seen were people trying to *jump* out of the way.
you can easily avoid the jello by jumping up and to the side when its running at you
One extra thing about knifo i discovered earlier (scared the crap outa me) you are NOT safe with heights! they can just fly up to you! Hope this helps😂
fun fact a way to combat a lot of enemies is to turn on a shock stick and throw it like a spear but this is risky as you may lose it or miss your throw but its also a cool way to mess with friends

For some reason when you mentioned the thing of baiting the Slapper off of the cliff an someone potentially going with him, it made me envision a player character standing at the edge of a cliff, yelling "WITNESS ME!" as the Slapper lunges at them and and kills them
My advice for ear man. If you have a sound board hooked to your mic you can bind a really loud song. Using this you can use it to make him scared away 100% of time without needing to scream. This also works as an anti ear man for if he is here since you can play it constantly to avoid him getting close to you since he will run away as soon as he gets in ur mic radius. Really usefull if you are chased by multiple monsters since he can easely make you fall and get you stucked in a spot so others can kill you. Also the spider is unique since tazing it will litteraly kill the spider and a new one will drop from the roof. This makes it extremly weak to the taser since it takes longer to become alive then other monsters need to go back up. Also the larva seems to only stick to areas when seeking players. If you break los it will not patrol around the map but patrol around where it last was moving. In general don't go back to where you found larvas and you might not meet them again.
3:31 also if you're the taser person and alone and get grabbed it's ezpz to get yourself out bc of the length of it, just activate it and throw, if you miss u have a second to grab it again to try again
My first ever time playing content warning, my entire team was about to die from oxygen really far into the map. Suddenly, i got grabbed by a Jello and it legit dragged me to the diving bell. I was the only survivor.
For the slurprer you dont need to aim at the tongue directly you just have to touch him with any sort of object

You also can evade Eye Guy by turning off flashlight instantly as he sees it. Although I am very unsure because I remember we had a run with friends I got lost and started to wander around in search of exit, as I was going I turned off my flashlight because it was low on battery and right when I wanted to check what’s in front of me, I shined light directly into his face, but turning off the flashlight allowed me to save myself
I have shocked a big slap before, it ragdolled it which looked silly but then roared and got mad, killing me too
found a portrait of the slapper once with a friend, took it back to the bell. everything turned to chaos. we all died to the slapper after
also had four snatchos appear in one game. light flicker demon is quite common for me
11:29 with snatcho, i cant tell if it's coincidence but if you get snatched and alone the only chance is to somewhat maneuver into areas with a lightbulb and it'll disappear

Wisks are pretty inconsistent from my experience. Sometimes, they can fuck you up if you don't dodge (which frankly you can do by accident, dodging a wisk is a practice in having motor skills), but one time I was literally in a wisk's face for more than a minute, jumping at him, trying to provoke him into killing me (gotta get some content), and he could not for the life of him hit me. He tried, and he charged a lot, but for some reason I think the physics of the game can really mess with these guys and have their damage hitbox whiff rather often, that specific one never even landed a hit and I chased him. I don't recommend this as standard practice of course, because the physics or whatever influences these beasts can start working properly, but if for no other reason than the novelty, try just that and see the absolute state of a wisk.
I found something weird that kills me, I found a rabbit statue on the floor and then I started levitating and taking damage, wasn't the starfish thing on the ceiling since there wasn't one there and I wasn't hanging I could move around but I was floating and dying. Know what that was?
It's a virus. You should delete the game FAST. That's usually a sign that there are un-wanted "stuff" sneaked in your game.

There are 2 different types of those statues, one makes you go up and the other makes you go down, have someone throw the other one at you and it stops.
There's always scary parts where :

Then suddenly, all of the monsters just shows up.
Some friends of mine got deafened by the mouth, bugger screamed at them a few times and then my friends couldnt hear eachother nor the monsters approaching them anymore
i first encountered the weeping while i was alone scared me when it captured me but i had the mic and told them where i was and was able to safely get out

I just discovered a terrifying thing y'all should know. The diving bell WILL NOT save you The Big Slap. Yes, even if it's locked. This bastard will just squish it's body through textures to get you. The thing basically has no flaws.
you can shock stick the giant, he ragdolls just like normal but he gets back up and will instantly aggro on you.
The larva is also afraid of flares.
I know cause me and my froned went down, and saw one immediately.
It charged and I ignited the flare for the heck of it and it ran off if it ever got near the red light.
I have found myself in a situation where the barnacle ball was using its vortex ability while I had a shock stick and you cannot shock them
There is this thing i saw erlier in the game, its like a drone with a smili face on it , if you go near it it spawns a black hole that grows and pulls you in!
lol i just played a round with a friend and we got the barnacle ball, it chased my friend and i dont know who was screaming louder, the ball or my friend.😂 it also chased me and i just stayed there and shoked it with a shocking stick i found, and ran away, didnt know it was so dangerous xD
on the 3 time or something we played we finded the barnecle ball and i got chased while my friends filming him and laughing
i survived and died to one Monsters that maked train sounds

I was able to actually shock the barnacle ball. Don’t how but was able to on my second encounter with it.
big raga(the larvae) picked me up and threw me into the bell and i said ok enough fucking around lets leave and its was hilarious
the first time I saw big slap, we were in the second map and big slap spawned right when we got out of the diving belt and slapped all of us into the bottomless pit

i once had a skinwalker in our lobby. he was like my friend but didnt make noise and attacked us
For the slipper you just have to hit it and it will let go rather than hit the tongue, and the slipper is shockable but will instantly kill you if you do
I heard the Turret has a checking path code where it will come to where you ran away and check if you still there before going other places
there is also the angler and ghost monsters but their really rare to find them in content warning, just telling you but good video.

There is a missing threat, I once found strange "animal statues" on the ground which when I picked up, I started floating and taking minor damage

The weeping you can crouch and slowly walk to the side and eventually slip out lol I think it’s a bug but I’ve done it a ton
You can throw items at any slurper part, you are not forced to aim to it's mouse
I got trapped by the Slurper and threw my camera and got out. Im now seeing that escaping by yourself is difficult.
Imagine your just trying to record a video, you go back to where your friends are, and just hear them yelling swear words at this weird ear man for no reason

I was able to torture a barnacle ball with the tazer, until it ran out of charge. Then I had to run.
the flicker is like death itself your time is up when you meet him
Pretty sure you can hit literally any part of the ceiling creature to make it let go.
Also you can throw the shocksticks so you can probably avoid the barnacle things tornado attack that way as well + funny thing with defibrilators, if youre about to die you can revive yourself with one by spamming it but grabbing enemies will just snatch you again immediately. And also I guess you can go superfast with it by having an autoclicker on, kind of cheating but youll probably be prone to flying in a random direction and dying.
Me and a random were trying to evacuate because we had little film and tons of monsters were near us, we get in the dive bell and shut the door but right before we shut it a bomber throws his bomb inside, the random says “oh sh-“ then we die instantly lmao but the camera stayed in our ship so we got it all back
Shocking the barnacle while he is spinning stuns it but the vortex keeps going for some reason. So for the most part no you can’t shock it
The "slapper" is what my friends and I call the "bean bag man" and we have been able to taze him if you throw it at him. We had one night where he was the only monster spawning and our runs lasted 10 seconds each before we either ran back to the ship or all died.
If you shockstick barnacle ball he explodes I think. When I shocked it I died instantly from some sort of explosion that flung me veary far.
I saw the flicker on my second ever run, I was in the dive bell and my screen shaked and it forced me to stare at him and i died
3:16 its called a barnacle not tongue licker remember this. Also yeah slurper is just like a barnacle because both grab you with tongues drag you up and start damaging you. The only difference is barnacles (which btw are in half life 1 too) will instantly kill npcs and eat the entire body.
