Yes exactly. That was beautiful color also. It was the Time, when the gates of Karakoram Express were Locked after departure from every Station, and opened before next station.

Yesterday I travelled in Karakoram Express from Lahore to Faisalabad. The train reached there in just 1:45 hours which is pretty much impressive. And no doubt, the train is still considered as a Premium train of Pakistan and people feel proud in travelling via Karakoram Express. I was myself feeling ecstatic while travelling in it for the first time. I have also observed that railway staff are doing good job of keeping the trains neat and clean. Even during the journey, the staff occasionally come to collect any litter or bottles in the train. General traffic has shifted to railway in view of expensive mode of buses. The bus fares have gone ridiculously high in view of current economic situation. overall it was a pleasant journey with Karakoram Express. Hope that railways management will look into the rehabilitation of railway track from Lahore to Khanewal via Faisalabad as the latter is a very busy station for Up and down tracks.
@@RailwayPakistan geu40 max operational speed is 110 kmph with passenger train , they are made for frieght why they are been used for express duties nowadays ?? Zcu-30 are meant for speed and they are seen very less, 41up/42dn is nowadays hauled by geu40 and the punctuality is not good... Hopefully zcu will be back hauling the trains in faster speed...
Exactly dear you are thinking right. GEU 40 were brought for freight operations but Minister Railways Sheikh Rasheed sb is using them with passenger Trains. ZCU'S are now a days rarely scene. ZCU and Age 30 are best and they should utilized with passengers train.

Nice video! Very similar to what Indian Railways looked like when I was growing up. So yes, Pakistan Railways is a bit behind, but can certainly improve if the government is willing. I applaud the way you have handled some of the nasty comments by not giving in to hatred. I also applaud the many Indian friends who are considerate and kind in their comments. With passage of time, this train should be given more priority and management should try to run it successfully as it was running in the PML(N) Govt. Dear trains are capable of running at 160 KM/H. But tracks are old, so maximum permisible speed limit is 160 KM/H. 68 Passengers in a coach. Some trains are short and some are long, but maximum coaches limit is 22.

Dear our Railway network is much smaller than yours. Pakistan Railwsye have around 1 Lac employee. We are using diesel Locomotives. Electric tracks were working at Lahore khanewal section in the past, but now it is not working. Tracks in Pakistan are broad Gauge. Doubling of tracks is in progress but it will take time.
Fsd-lhr time must not exceed 1:40. In past non stop beween fsd and lhr covered distance in exactly in 1:40. So viewers decide PR was better in past or now?

Your video was quite good. However, it's a sad state of affairs for Pakistan railways when one of it's most important trains has it's Chinese built loco break down. (Funny thing is that Chinese who live outside of China criticize the Chinese products) Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal are all getting help from Indian railways which are way ahead in Technology in comparison with Pakistan. It would be of great benefit to Pakistan if they made friends with India rather than China which will want to take over Pakistan over a period of time, like they did, the port in Sri Lanka, as well as many African countries through the back door by controlling their economies. Many Indian trains run at 130kmph & very soon expected to run at 160kmph on a regular basis. Some of our freight trains would soon be running at 120 kmph. Sad to see there's hardly any freight train traffic in Pakistan. I have seen a couple more videos of Pakistan railways & none of them show freight trains crossing, Whereas, freights are a common sight in Indian railways. Besides, most of Indian railways is electrified double track with electronic signaling. Some areas have more than 2 tracks. Pakistan railways still depicts old semaphore signals & single tracks. Indians & Pakistanis get along very well everywhere except for whatever be the reason, Pakistan govt does not want to stretch its hand towards India. Sad, Was hoping Imran Khan would mend fences for the better. Still hoping he will get wiser & do what would be very good for Pakistan.

The Diesel engine of the train is out of date.Please check the Indian Railway. Every where we are using electric engine to maintain speed & time.We have changed all diesel to electric only.The train looks very ugly compare to India.I can not travel in such train even though it is free.

Dear trains are capable of running at 160 KM/H. But tracks are old, so maximum permisible speed limit is 160 KM/H. 68 Passengers in a coach. Some trains are short and some are long, but maximum coaches limit is 22.

Dear our Railway network is much smaller than yours. Pakistan Railwsye have around 1 Lac employee. We are using diesel Locomotives. Electric tracks were working at Lahore khanewal section in the past, but now it is not working. Tracks in Pakistan are broad Gauge. Doubling of tracks is in progress but it will take time.
The issue was the break pressure which is to be gained here for higher speeds for interior punjab

Your video was quite good. However, it's a sad state of affairs for Pakistan railways when one of it's most important trains has it's Chinese built loco break down. (Funny thing is that Chinese who live outside of China criticize the Chinese products) Bangladesh, Sri Lanka & Nepal are all getting help from Indian railways which are way ahead in Technology in comparison with Pakistan. It would be of great benefit to Pakistan if they made friends with India rather than China which will want to take over Pakistan over a period of time, like they did, the port in Sri Lanka, as well as many African countries through the back door by controlling their economies. Many Indian trains run at 130kmph & very soon expected to run at 160kmph on a regular basis. Some of our freight trains would soon be running at 120 kmph. Sad to see there's hardly any freight train traffic in Pakistan. I have seen a couple more videos of Pakistan railways & none of them show freight trains crossing, Whereas, freights are a common sight in Indian railways. Besides, most of Indian railways is electrified double track with electronic signaling. Some areas have more than 2 tracks. Pakistan railways still depicts old semaphore signals & single tracks. Indians & Pakistanis get along very well everywhere except for whatever be the reason, Pakistan govt does not want to stretch its hand towards India. Sad, Was hoping Imran Khan would mend fences for the better. Still hoping he will get wiser & do what would be very good for Pakistan.
