@darkhokage if you're using ultra 1, don't bother divekicking, you can dash fowards and land u1. If you want to use the divekick you have to use HK divekick.
@letscountthestars Yeah I landed it a few times but I'm not too consistent with it yet. The key is to buffer very early. As soon as you buffered the second fierce slash you buffer the FADC and then the ultra. Lots of inputs to do so quickly, which is why buffering helps.
@CountryDude18 If you're having a hard time with the FADC portion it's because the timing is a little weird. You have to wait a little bit after the mantis slash input because the slash doesn't actually come out when you put in the command; it comes out a bit later. So just wait until you see the second slash come out and then go for the FADC.
@darkhokage With mantis FADC you have to FADC the second hit of the heavy punch version, it's really loose timing compared to everyone else's fadc timing because the enemy will be in hit real for a long ass time. Just take it slow, mantis hit one, mantis hit 2(on opponent's hit stun, there are around 19 frames to do this) mp+mk(hold) dash(release mp+mk) then ultra(you can buffer this during the dash. Make sure you don't hit the opponent with FADC, and take it slowly step by step.
@mech20310 Thanks for the concern. I'm not displaying Oni Akuma or Evil Ryu footage so they have no reason to. Yang is already out and people already knows he exists in the game. No worries.
@darkhokage I was having issues with both of these. I'm still working on the divekick one but the mantis FADC cancel seems to work best from the HARD variation's second repetition. The timing was a little tight but it works with some practice into both ultras. Hopefully, that helps some.
lets just hope Capcom can bring these characters into the console version, even if we had to pay for them it dont matter, i wanna play these guys and evil ryu and oni. Implementing these characters into the game will bring back some fun.
Ultra 2 is fire, i just dont like the fact that you dont get the cutscene animation if they are in the air which is how the move is supposed to be used as Anti-air
Isn't the combo at 2:54 (the one starting with a HP Mantis) counter-hit only? Does Yang have viable frame traps to actually land a combo like that in a match?

U1 = More damage , Less setups and less range
U2 = Less damage , Moresetups and combos

umm you didn't end his target combo, it's s.mp > s.hp > back hp for the ender to the target combo
