    ❤Love this, I'm using it to edge 2 sides of 20 coasters I'm making for a reunion . So much easier than the fringe I'd originally planned!! Thankyou ❤

    Thank you for such clear and well demonstrated stitches! It has been a long time since I made a picot stitch and needed a refresher. This was perfect. Thank you. ♥

    Oh my goodness… I’ve struggled with the Picot Stitch since it was introduced to Crochet. (I’m telling my age). I even avoid it at all costs! Until now. I have watched many, many, MANY, videos and still struggle with it. I was about to give up. I found your video, and you have literally taught me a way that is “Jane” proof! I now am proud to claim, that I can do a beautiful Picot Stitch, because of YOU! I am thrilled!!
    Thank you so very much, from an old “Hooker”, for sharing your gift of teaching others, and your beautiful craft of Crochet. I’m so excited! Lol🧶

    Thank you very much. i am a beginner and i love your teaching method. I watched soooooo many videos to teach that picot border but i did not like the open space in the stitch. Thank you for showing me how to go into the front and side of the chain to eliminate that space. I especially love how full my picots look. You are and excellent teacher.

    I made a simple granny square boho purse with long fringe. This border was a great way to finish the top of the bag. You're a great teacher!

    It was very helpful for me as a beginner to ha you work through the entire piece because it took me a while to pickup the pattern. Letting the video run while I was crocheting worked. I was successful. Great teaching methods.

    When I am looking for a new or different stitch your site & channel are the first I turn to. And you haven’t failed me yet! Tho’ I’ve been crocheting for “eons”, I am still perfecting my craft and your videos have aided me tremendously. I’m currently making a set of placemats in single crochet & wanted a pico border. I found yours and it is the perfect edging - no holes in the pico! Thank you for generously sharing your patterns and talent.

    These are the prettiest picots I've seen so far and I watched a lot of (bad 😋) videos with even more versions in them. Explained VERY good. Not too fast, another colour used for the picots and the perfect distance so we can watch exactly what happens. Thank you very much! 🥰

    Thanks! I like this one better than the 'looser' version.. and a plus, it is easier to do too! Am using it with some HDCs on a coaster that was too small... added it to the previous border... in all 3 Xmas colors... more interesting coasters, too. lololol Your tutorial was very easy to follow too, good work! Thanks!

    I like how you go through the stitches! 👍❤️ I never thought to add this to a washcloth but it would be great to into the little rims of the Tupperware lids and stuff. I think you have done it before. Shame on me! 😟 I’m going to add it to some of the washcloths I’m making for my daughter’s house warming basket. PS it’s in Scranton. 💜 Well thank you from your neighbor in NY. 💜❤️🌼

    Thank you for this!!!I I make it even more secure by slip stitching into the same stitch as the picot is in, then I do the normal repeat. ^^ makes it even more secure and looks a little neater... at least for me anyways. ^^

    This is exactly what I want to do for my scrap yarn blanket. I am doing it in half double crochet, so if I understand you correctly, I will need to do a single crochet border around before I do the picot stitch. I hope you will answer this but if not, if someone will please answer, I would appreciate the help. TFS

    • @CreativeGrandma
      @CreativeGrandma  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      you can do a single crochet, a half double crochet or a double crochet border around the afghan first as a base rnd, then work your single crochet picot border, the base border use which ever stitch gives you the width you want for your border. Happy crocheting.

      You can single crochet or whip stitch them together by matching the stitches in the last rnd.
