For $100,000 you can get this Land Cruiser based SUV on your driveway. It has the proper off-road build sheet, but it also comes with some questionably outdated tech. One thing is for sure, this giant SUV will last for a very long time.

$100,000 is nothing compared to other suvs in its league its a reliable and predator looking tank SUV. My dream SUV.
I own 2008 lx570. Currently at around 650,000 km. I've had no issues with it. I tow 3 tonne boat, or sometimes 3.2 tonne caravan. The only thing I replaced is the wheels to have some extra side wall. I love it !
Are you kidding me🤔 My 2006 Lx470 has 254,xxx miles. I am thinking about an Escalade for more modern features and a bigger body. 😮😅

I’ve been reading up on these Lexus LX 570 reviews…in preparation to purchase one in the coming years, and several late 2021 models for sale on Autotrader are listed with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.

Rather spend $100K on this SUV and it's sibling Toyota LC then any domestic SUV!!!!! You review is right on!!!!! But, it a Lexus (Toyota) with the Quality, Reliability, and Dependability!!!!! That none of the domestic automakers can give you! It's worth every dollar!!!!!

drove 2013 landcruiser 6 years its nice no check engine lights drive smooth 170k mile just traded in 2017 lx 570 oh man its different its lot smoother its whole lot different if you looking comffy SUV go for LX
Nobody could have predicted the couple of years after this was filmed. As of 2023 that second hand market is not your friend.

~384 mile range kinda sucks TBH. I'm having a hard time finding something a bit smaller to replace my F350 platinum with 48g tank and 16.5mpg combined giving 793miles range. I don't want to give up the range, and shouldn't have to in a luxury SUV.

It’s a dated design for sure. But still the most reliable and capable in its class. Well worth it if your desire is comfort and reliability. But not if you want the latest tech

$3 a gallon - you lucky dogs. Over here in the UK we are currently paying 126.9p (£1.26) per litre of diesel which is 3.78 litres to the US gallon. So therefore multiply that by 3.78 = £4.79 per gallon or $6.14 US per 1 US gallon. We pay more than double what you guys pay for a gallon of fuel. See how we (most of us) couldn't afford to drive one of these things. I guess if you could afford to buy one of these vehicles, then the fuel cost would be no problem. Always get those conversions wrong, here is the true figure, still paying more than double what you pay though.

First u called it Rugged Ofroader and then u r saying it is not having digital meter. Dont u know the more the complexities in vehicle features the less it will remain rugged and totally technological dependant. You are saying that Lexus cant deisign some shitty digital meter even they had putted up on heads up display. Then u r crying for its mileage. This is class. No begger is gonna purchase it. So tell me with which vehicle u r comparing it. I think its average is better or at least equal to Wrangler. And hell of the difference in Engines, Weight, Class, Build, Luxury and design. Please be realistic. This is not a review of some hatch back .If u cant afford it u can get off from it. The person who is spending 1 lakh dollars wil not cry for 4 tanks in a month that will cost him 280 dollars hardly. This vehicle is ofroader, so dont just take out things that ur cups r to big that its holders cant hold them. Please Review for what this is designed for but no one have that water to test its abilities
The purpose of this vehicle is to last and therefore always seen as dated car due to their goal that is to go far.Never to be compared to a European with all the whistles and that often fails or last a few years. I own one and wouldn't replace for more luxurious vehicle.

Toyota landcruiser lc200, and Lexus lx 570 needed much more horsepowers and torques,most of theirs dealers and dealerships owners and sales person are very much dishonesty, globally,Nissan and Mercedes Benz take seriously cautions with who are theirs dealers and dealerships, Volkswagen seems to be heading in the right direction with Mercedes Benz,and Nissan with dealers and dealerships.

You pay 100k for the reliability. If you like gimmicky stuff at a premium price, literally, buy anything else.
Toyota or Lexus could do better on horsepowers and torques and at least four miles more in city and highway 6 miles more, the v8 - 5.7 can go hybrid, Nissan 5.6 is much better on horsepowers and torques, with better fuel economy but Nissan is mess up by Renault and few others car manufacturers around the globe to gain sales of vehicles, but Toyota reputation is very poor on horsepowers and torques and dealerships, they doesn't an honestly satisfaction for customers and consumers globally.

As Doug Demuro said, it's outdated for 100k and there are many better options for that money.
Johannes Soonik but those other options won’t be as reliable or last as long as this SUV.

Lexus 570 is about to be shut down by Genesis all new SUV it is truly by far a much better SUV then Lexus
