Apparently, only the Danish version does not sing ''uu-iiii-uu-iiii''. I mean, it's freaking ''uu-uuu-uu-uuu'', not ''uu-iiii-uu-iiii''. Perhaps all the subsequent dubs were translated from the Finish version? It sounds strange, I know, but it could be possible. For example, animes are often translated from the English versions in Denmark. I think it has to do with it being cheaper to get the English versions? I really have no idea, and it's really weird. Speaking of weird anime translations, Dragonball Z in Danish has the UK opening, but all the music is the original Japanese soundtrack, which the UK and US versions does not have, because it was too expensive to aquire the rights to use those tracks. Weird, isn't it??
Haha. The English version actually is the original. We wrote it in English. Lars Juhl / producer of the song / my brother Anders Juhl wrote the tune / lyrics by him and Peter Fernando / Eddi Reader version was the first to sing it. I love every version, however French version by Anggun really gives me goosebumps

All versions sounded so magic until the French started...I hate this bad habit they have here in France to use "pop" voices (especially for the animation movies made after 2000 ) This multilanguage makes me wanna immigrate in Finland or Germany *-*

A lot of French people have that kind of voice. It's the pronunciation of most of their words. Unlike german which is quite harsh along with Russian.
