Benesti/Bendorf is a dead end village, but we dont know that, because the map show an other road out, but it not exist, it surprised us, but i dont mind, because i made a film about this little local holiday
otherwise i wondering what they thought about us, a foreign licence plate car, low speed with cam on roof 2 times in their village :)

Just for the history, the road to Agnita is repaired. You can actually drive through Benesti directly to Agnita(is is much faster). It is a nice route with wonderful scenes and great history. It is there where on late 19th century, a Mammut was found from a Hungarian archaeologist . On the right side is also the Forest of Hârliţă where some archeological artifacts from the Bronze era were found, including a sword.

What a nice occasion that you saw some people in folklore dress in the village! :) That's vacation.

The people that you saw there are not Romanian. They are Roma-gipsies,there are few native Romanian people left in Benesti .
I visit the village twice a year :)
    How did you get there?

Just for the history... :) I've asked a friend who was there that day.A Roma has died and there was a funeral that day.. at 1:20, unter the tree, you can see the local "bar" (I've bought some beers several times from there:) )

Hi ! How do you find the community from this village? I am thinking to buy a holiday house there, but I have a feeling my family and I would look like outsiders in the Roma community :)
