If my lt1 (95 impala ss) had great power when you roll on the throttle but sputters and backfires through the exhaust (I believe) when you punch it, would you say that's sensor related? Seems to run rich or smells that way. Thanks for any input. Chris.
It ended up being my coil wire. Looked great but the part that clipped on the coil was broken. I finally saw it spark when I had the hood up trying it start it at night.
Good information but where is the crankshaft and camshafts sensors located on the LT1 engine, have a 92 Corvette and can't find the camshaft sensor can any body show me their location.
@@shawnbauman5463 thank you for the information just want to comment that I put brand-new fuel injectors, fuel filter, fuel pump, ignition sending unet, new coil.still engine stops running, check the fuses there all good fuel relay good, just can think of anything else,to fix it.
The reason I want to change the crankshaft is because my car starts then chots off, already change the fuel pump and filter the oil temp gage, coil and ignition sensor, fuel injectors, starts right up but shots off,
Having a problem with my car where it has a real rough idle when it’s below 30 degrees then when it gets warm it smooths out to perfect, opti is new, fuel pump, filter and regulator, vacuum seems real good what sensor do you think it might be the Iac temperature gauge in the intake maybe? Have you ever heard of that problem before
Please help the oil sensor wiring i have a plug but bothing to plug it into on the back of my block think is for the o2s i cant find a picture anywhere
I changed the cooling sensor to a brand new one and my transmission light came on n it died Everytime I tried to back out driveway had to put old one back in
Yes, I put up a camera and found that my dog was chewing it all night and spitting it back out when my alarm went off. It doesn’t bother me, I just wanted to make sure that it wasnt defective gum.

I would start with making sure you have good fuel pressure when punching the throttle. Could be ignition could be a lot of things.
Can u name some of alot of things🙏😣

I’m having the same issue
I have a 95 impala SS and cannot find the coolant temp sensor switch that controls the gauge inside. Please help
it is on the head on passenger side ,single wire sensor

The distributior is the cam and crank sensor. The Opti part of it anyway.
Ok thank you,I'll do more resurge on that.

I would do an ohm check of your fuel injectors especially if they are original.
What sensor is under front throttle ports??? I have 94 Chevy caprice
Idle air control
Drivers side, oil level and oil temp sensors?
Where is the sensor that controls the oil pressure gauge inside

Also though it does have throttle body bypass for the coolant but i don’t think that would help because the coolant would be cold too on startuo
Injectors, ohm check, amperage measurement is even better. Do it cold, since that is when the issue occurs.

My coolant sensor wire is broken from the sensor connector. Where does it land. Thanks in advance.
Where does it land? What do you mean? Sounds like you need a new connector pig tail end.
@@shawnbauman5463 the wire has been cut and lm trying to figure out where the other end goes
So the coolant temp sensor on the water pump has the end cut off? It goes all the way to the ECM.
Or do you mean the one on the head for the instrument cluster?
Nice Corvette motor on your car 😂😁👏I know is a Corvette😁👏👏✌✌🍻
Does your chewing gum lose its flavor on the bed post at night

Ew ew ew naked fuel injector's wires , cover em up .
MAF SENSOR??????
Has a MAP sensor not a MAF, its a fuel density system.
