Fun World - Nashua, NH (2023 Store Tour)

Here is a store tour of a 3-Story Arcade called "Fun World" in Nashua, NH.
Opening on May 26th, 1978, it was considered as "A Touch Of Disney in Nashua", as it was the first fun center of it's kind in the area. Opening day attractions included a "Computerized Arcade, Automatic Tennis Court, an Outdoor Automatic Baseball Pitcher, and an Outdoor Miniature Car Track".
Around 1987, a major fire would break out, burning the original building to the ground. Fun World would be completely rebuilt into a "Castle" theme which is still the current look of the building today. It would be built on a much larger scale then the original building, and would now include indoor Mini Golf. The Outdoor attractions would remain, as they were not affected by the Fire. They also featured a new animatronic show, referred to as "The Monkey and Gorilla Show"
Fun World would receive several updates in the Early - Mid 90's. The Indoor Mini Golf area would be replaced by two new rides, a Roller Coaster named "The Orient Express" and a Himalaya ride. Remnants of the Mini Golf course still remain such as the Pinocchio and Bugs Bunny Statues, as well as a Horse Carriage. (These pieces are originally from Bensons Wild Animal Farm as well). These two rides still remain as seen in the video, although The Orient Express hasn't ran since 2020.
In February 1994, Fun World would expand and add a playground area. They would also add a new kiddie ride in the play area, a Mini Ferris Wheel named "The Dixie Jr. Wheel". The ride hasn't operated since the Late 90's/Early 2000's, but still continues to sit abandoned. The Playground area still operates in 2023 with very little changes made.
In 1999, Fun World would add another new ride. A 2 Story Venetian Carousel, imported directly from Italy. The Ride still operates to this day and is the main center piece to the building. Around the same time, the Go Karts and Batting Cages would be retired. The Batting Cage area would be removed to extend the parking lot and the Go Kart track would continue to sit abandoned for years, and still sits abandoned today. It is unknown what will become of this area.
The Monkey and Gorilla Show would be removed sometime in the mid 1990’s, it is unknown what happened to the show.
Fun World is also home to one of the only remaining “Galaxian Theatre” Games which was at one point considered to be the largest arcade game in the world. It is a 6 player theatre simulator that ran off of two laser disc players. Unfortunately, the theatre was plagued with problems due to neglect in maintenance, and was eventually turned off for good. As of 2023, the theatre is now covered with a tarp and used for storage.
As it stands today, Fun World is still a gem of an arcade with a good mix of older and newer games. While it probably could use a good update (especially to the outside) it is still an amazing place to see for the novelty alone.

Great video! This place looks like something straight out of a weird dream and I love it
I haven't been to Funworld in like 6 years. Good to see it is still around. Though it looks a lot more empty than I remember. Not sure if it's too many broken games, or covid hit them too hard. Still, it was a nice cheaper alternative to modern arcades like Dave and Busters.
Totally watched this just to make sure they still had the DDR machine on the top floor! 😂
That arcade is one of the last surviving safe havens holding Initial D and Maximum Tune now that they are not in modern arcades nowadays.

I went there today and I’m here to complain about them. They scammed me for my farting putty
