Chuck E Cheese’s Willowdale Ontario: Store Tour

The Willowdale Ontario (North York) location opened on October 8, 1983 as a Pizza Time Theatre with a Balcony Stage. Willowdale also had a 12ft Chuck E. Cheese statue that came from the San Jose Tully Road location. They did have a lounge room, but it is unknown on what they had. My assumption is that they had The King, based off a video I saw. In the late 80s, the stage was given the Chuck E’s House Facade (C-Stage). During the early 90s, they received the 1988 Remodel, which gave the store the rainbow bricks, new decor, and new games (Phase 1). In the mid 90s, they received Phase 2, replacing old decor for new decor, and newer games, but they also replaced the C-Stage for the 2-Stage. The 2 Stage was made to give synergy with the other stores that had Munch’s Make Believe Band. Around 2006-2007, They received the 2005 Remodel (Phase 4), which removed the showroom walls, got newer art, and painted some walls purple. As of 2024, they still have the 2005 remodel, the 2-Stage, and the 12ft Statue. The 2.0 remodel date is unknown.

This location is very interesting, it’s amazing that it still has the PTT statue as well, along with the phase 3 logo on the store exterior.

this is my best friend Jessica's local Chuck E Cheese's but i do think that is her childhood store ( former Pizza Time Theatre ) or the other location with the last road stage, I wasn't sure which one is her local store, I got to tell her that she needs to go visit there with her family to grab photos for Chuck E Cheese and Munch's Make Believe Band before they get removed from her local childhood Chuck E Cheese's

The store for sure hsd the King, they also got the C stage in 1989 and 1988 remodel in the late 80s (1988-1989) they were the last store to have the king until 1994/1995 when they got their 2 stage and 90s remodel. They also got their 2005 remodel in 2006-2007, not 2008-2009. They still keep a small circle of PTT carpet under their 12 ft Chuck statue. Their 12 ft Chuck statue also uses the king's old railing/fence around him as their last remanent of their King.

@@Cecboy-h7o most likely Dolli and possibly later on Artie. I really don't see the possibility of BB Bubbles being that high as she is such an obscure character who was only at a few locations

@@musicbox2426 actually Artie was never at the location because it opened in 1983 and he was retired from locations at that point also the last king was actually removed in 1998

There was another remodel around 2009 at this location when they got rid of the artifiact shelves and got rid of the older arcades (Daytona USA 2, the stomp machine, etc). I remember the showroom walls went away in the early 2000s
