This video reminds me of the articles you used to write for CK magazine. You would take a tool and show us multiple uses for it….This video makes me even more glad that I purchased a press plate machine! What fun! Can’t wait to get mine out and try some of these new idea’s! Thanks Jennifer, you are one of the reasons this hobby stays alive!
Your cards are mini works of art! Thank you for showing all the possibilities that make us think to use our crafting supplies in whole new way. I will always appreciate you, your talent, your kindness, your spirit, and your willingness to teach. ❤❤
Thank you so much because yes I do want to know that I can use a product in multiple ways because to paraphrase Alton Brown, “ the only uni-tasker that should be in your craft room is a fire extinguisher “
Gosh, I love how your brain works. You are such an out of the box thinker, which we are all so lucky, that you share all these possible techniques. And for that, I would like to say a big THANK YOU!! Now your cards.... They are so gorgeous. I especially like the multi blue colored one. And here again.... The designs that you come up with are Brilliant. Wishing you and your loved ones, a wonderful and filled with love, Holiday Season❤
I am absolutely mind blown right now! I was LITERALLY just looking through some press plates I just bought because they were pretty, wondering how to use them without a betterpress and in that second the notification for THIS VIDEO flashes across my phone ! It’s like you were in my head! Thanks for coming through for me once again 🎉
great ideas for using press plates! I especially liked seeing how you used the octagon and other shapes. I bought most of the plates from pink fresh except for these. Seeing what can be done with them, I have now changed my mind. They're on my wish list, and it's wonderful to see that there is more than one way to use press plates! I appreciate the way you show us how to stretch our supplies. Your videos are very encouraging in giving ideas!
This video is great because until now I have not been a fan of the Better Press system. You have shown us how versatile this machine is. Thank you. I've already ordered more plates.
These new designs for the press plates are really pretty, delicate designs. I love the octagon one you showed, especially how you cut them for fancy edges. I think I might have something I could use that way! Thanks for your ideas! 💌
Always thinking outside the box! My favorite is the the octagon/hexagon card. ❤❤❤❤❤. Having been a teacher myself, you are a fabulous teacher. Tyfs your gifts with us.
NEVER MISS A J.M. vid. Ahh, I was so hoping to have my Betterpress for Christmas card making. Didnt make it. Again, You teach me so, so much. You really are the BEST!!!❤❤❤
I am so glad I found your video! I bought a stencil, then found out it needed a press plate to go along with it. I just got the press plate, but couldn't figure out how to use it in my Platinum 6. I am so happy you had a solution for me! It worked really well, so thank you!
Absolutely stunning cards!! This is a method of using the plates and dies that I have never seen before. You used the products in so many different ways. Thank you Jennifer and many blessings this Christmas and the new year. ♥🎄
I’ve been thinking about inking the press plate and just running it thru my die machine as I don’t have a machine that the better press will work in and can’t spend the money for all that. Thanks for showing what’s possible! ❤️🦋💜
Thank you Jennifer for continuing to share your AMAZING CREATIVITY with us. I was mesmerized watching you use the plates in so many ways. I’m so glad other companies are including Press Plates in their releases! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family and may 2024 bring you all the happiness you deserve
Thanks for the video Jennifer! Big fan here. I just ordered a BetterPress, mainly because I saw that Simon Hurley is releasing the cutest Easter bunny press plates. I'm relieved to find out from this video that I can use the water-based inks I already have. I prefer to use inks that are easier to clean up than something that needs special ink cleaner.
Oh! How I was waiting for a video with these products! ❤️❤️ And now I have to wait until these plates are available in europe …. Thank you for the inspirations!! 😘
Thank you Jennifer - I love seeing all the uses this system offers! It blows my mind how you take a shaped press or die and make it perform miracles! I'm 70 but I SO want to be you when I grow up! My Happiest Christmas wishes to you and your family! As I reflect and count my blessings this year, you are one of them. Thank you! 🎄🌟🎄
I did my first Create & Connect Holiday one and I was blown away by the quality, the products selected and included -absolutely the BEST package/value that I have ever come across. I signed up for this one and cannot wait until February!
Thank you for mentioning the Create & Connect. I was reading comments to see if anyone mentioned if they liked it or not. I'm on the fence because of the price and would like to try it, so it's nice to hear positives about it.
Hi Jennifer, I love the foil panels, but I struggle how to make them into a card as mine just look too busy. I know you usually just do techniques, but if you ever just want to play with foil, I know many of us would love it. Thanks and Merry Christmas!🎄🎁
Jennifer is the best teacher. Great examples and so many creative ideas. Question, Can you use a laminator machine for the foiling instead of a Glimmer and will the result be the same? Happy holidays!!
Oh, you reminded me I have fountain pen and kakimori inks I might try with some press plate…I’d like to see if I can use my sheeny or sparkly inks with this! Haven’t seen any try that yes…
Glad to know we can use regular cardstock since Spellbinders does not seem to want me as a customer. They locked me out of my account more than a year ago. That glimmer machine made it sooo pretty!! I do not have one of those machines yet. So I need to get it and the press plate system. How do you get the glue inside the little bottle? Such a great tutorial!!!
Also, I think they should, with later iterations of the glimmer machine, either make it a two way street, or make a combo glimmer/ letterpress system. Should you happen to talk to the spellbinders people…
Hi Jennifer, always love your videos! I saw that the pink fresh studio live event states on the description that registration is open until 12/10. Does that mean they are no longer accepting participants?
Jennifer, do you know if a person can still register for the card making class? Their website says that registration closed on Dec 10 but it appears you can still add it to your cart. I know I’d be better off asking Pink Fresh directly but I figure with it being the Saturday of a holiday weekend that I wouldn’t get an answer from them for many days - figured I’d have a better chance with you. 😀
I still don't understand why Glimmer plates can't be used in the BetterPress. How are the plates so vastly different that you can use a BP plate that is designed for heat and pressure with both chases but only a Glimmer plate (also designed for heat and pressure) can be used with the glimmer chase and shims. What am I missing?
Jennifer, I'm glad you made this video, "Letterpress & Foiling" from 8/19/19, th-cam.com/video/CdxGLVoc5A4/w-d-xo.html, so in a different manner, we can letterpress with our hot foil plates. I love that there is so much versatility with our products. You have another showing how to letter press using regular dies. The key is the soft Spellbinder's embossing mat.

A great example of someone whom is the epitome of opening up the mind to all that is possible.

Those cards and techniques are amazing and beautiful. Jennifer, you sure are the G-O-A-T

Lovely to see you back on YT. I didn’t think I needed a Betterpress…🤦♀️ until now.

What great ideas to get the most out of press plates. It’s like doubling or tripling my supplies!
You never seize to amaze me. Thanks for all you do to inspire this community and help us make good use of our purchases.
Jennifer, thanks for this type of video. It really does make the idea of investing in these systems a lot more attractive. 😊
NEVER MISS A J.M. vid. Ahh, I was so hoping to have my Betterpress for Christmas card making. Didnt make it. Again, You teach me so, so much. You really are the BEST!!!❤❤❤
Thank-you Jennifer. You have wonderful ideas. Since I have some of these things, it gets me going to create some of my own cards.
This collection of examples was fabulous.

Can’t wait to try this. Great video!❤
Thank you…..might need to add the better press to my list!

Love all these ideas
This video is so very helpful!! Thank you!!!! 😄
Great video! I cannot wait to try some of these techniques!! Thank you!
I feel like this video is specifically for me lol. I got the Betterpress for Christmas. 😊
Wow! Pink Fresh event is already sold-out. Hopefully they'll have another one soon
Lots of great ideas! Thank you ❤
Jennifer is the best teacher. Great examples and so many creative ideas. Question, Can you use a laminator machine for the foiling instead of a Glimmer and will the result be the same?
Happy holidays!!
They are two different things. You can't run a foil plate through a laminator.
Thanks I bought press plates by mistake so now I can the on my glimmer.
These techniques are really cool! Could you not heat up the press plate with the heat gun instead? And could not be done with any (background) die?
Thanks for sharing! Love my BetterPress!!!

Gina K sells a big size and the nozzle fits the opening of the little one
Wonderful video
Where did you get that die from? I love it

I love this!
Beautiful 👏👏👏
How do you keep your better press so clean
THANK YOU
So beautiful. I must have a go at this. Ruth down under.
Kind of off topic but…. Any ideas how to use those old brass stencils many of us bought years ago?
I don't have those but others may have some ideas
Why can’t you use the foil plates? Are they thicker? I don’t have either system, but I’m very interested in both.
Jennifer the Feb 25/26 event says that it closed on Dec 10th is that true?

the thickness is different. spellbinders has said it. i am going to test it...
Jennifer, I'm glad you made this video,

You can cut all those floral sprigs apart from each other for a new look too
Sold Out event :(
